WESTERNISATION COULD MEAN:

W      - Wearing of indecent dress,

E      - Eating with the left hand,

S      - Speaking carelessly (lying, abusing, slandering, etc.),

T      - Taking girl/boy friends,

E      - Examination malpractice,

R      - Reluctance in observing prayers (Salat),

N      - Not respecting elders (Parents, teachers, seniors, etc),

I      - Ignoring recitation of the Holy Qur'an,

S      - Shaking the hands of people of the opposite sex,

A      - Attraction to Music and Songs,

T      - Taking alcohol and smoking cigarettes,

I      - Ignoring the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (SAW),

O      - Organising parties, picnic, etc.,

N      - Neglecting justice and leadership.

THE REMEDY OF WESTERNISATION IS ISLAM

I:      Islam is a complete way of live. It also entails imitating the Holy Prophet (SAW) in dressing, eating and all conducts, and being frank and decent,                        
S:      Showing respect to our elders (parents, teachers, seniors, etc.) and mercy to our young and the weak,

L:      Loving one another, forgiving, giving out gifts and Nasiha,

A:      Avoiding Satanic practices, such as: listening to music and songs, partying, spying, envying, backbiting, slandering, abusing, or defaming others,

M:      Memorising the Holy Qur'an and the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and exhibiting good manners, as taught by Islam.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) said: "Ra'asil Amri Al-Islam……" He (SAW) also said: " The best among you in Islam are those with the best manners…." Bukhari.

Why do you look at the missing button of others when you arent wearing a shirt.
  What I mean is we will never prosper if we dont stop looking at the evils of our neigbours and find ours. Charity begons at home, take ur eyes off the west or the arabs and try taking a look at urselve for a change.
  I believe one of the things that contributed in bringing our society into so much sinning is the emphasis we have made on looking at the evils of the west and comparing it with ours, this lets them drag us along... I dont know how to make everyone understand but please....watch urself!
