Roaccutane (Accutane) has been found to insert alterations of brain function in human subjects exposed to the toxin. Accutane is used for cancer, but currently also in acne subjects.
Accutane also lowers several hormones permanently. Thyroid hormone, dihydrotestosterone, circulating vitamin D have all been measured to be significantly lower in human subjects exposed to Roaccutane. This may cause problems later in life for the patient. Do not take it if you are a teenager that reads this, or let your son/daughter take this toxin, if you are a parent. It does more harm than good.
