Title: Slaughtering the ‘Fatherless’
Post by: Jibo on January 15, 2009, 11:18:12 AM
In the middle of the night,
When the breeze of the sea was undisturbed,
And when the flow of the sea waves was not stopped.
We listened to the eloquence of nocturnal conspiracy

The wind from distance sky was heard,
Swiftly over-powered by the wings of destruction.
Then came the bombing noise of blood-hungry iron birds.
And then came the wailing cry of wounded children.
Cry from the pains of war,

Cry from the biting fangs of hunger,
Cry from the pains of dry throats,
Cry because nobody was there to water throat of the sick,
Nobody was there to bury the dead.

The living were crying and so the dead.
But the world was laughing,
That 'fatherless' children were dying
Killed by children with sledge-hammered fathers.

This was the peace of the human justice,
This was the cry of perfect humanity,
This was the peace of United Nations.
