« on: June 20, 2007, 06:03:35 PM »
I will begin with saying ma Kudos to Husna the initiator of this thread.
and to all who have contributed meaningful and touching 'thoughts'.

having so much love for kids i also have a lot of pity for them. especially what influences they will under go through in life. the must painful thing is that, when they are kids, they are sweet innocent and everything nice. but if they are not lucky and end up having badly influence. it will be very sad to remember that these criminals, addicts, cultist we see were once sweet little kids. Well, may Allah continue to guide us and the innocents kids to grow into useful and beneficial members of our societies.

My thought

Though a little away from what has been previously posted. it is some what more philosophical.
i normally have this voice that talks to me in my mind, people believe its the conscience. but those it remain the conscience when it gets so loud that i think it is someone talking to me or when it feeds me with lots of information i find use and some how complex ideas i never remember coming across.

my question is i have a lot of those musings from my conscience, is it common. i think i will very soon begin posting such thoughts. thank you!

"A walk through the fields of Gold
an irony from what is real or a hard reality"

a wonderful piece ibro, it is so painful that one couldnt help but
refuse to imagine. but it is what is happening.

How then would anyone subject a fellow being to such cruelty.
May Allah make the palestinians victorious, for it was promised and that day will surely come.
When the walk through the field of gold would cease being an irony.

Nice piece!

POETRY

Talents are mostly disguised
Seldom does it get revealed
In poetry itís more subtle
Discovered through a pens battle

Verses beautifully written
Of words sweet in sense and rhythm
Impressive, wisdom condensed
A talent flow unending

 A potential dwelling in many
With few though attending
Art highly adored
Poetry we all yearn to be told

Assalamu alaikum,

Alh Aminu, you are not wrong by asking this question 'what is poetry'. But before i say anything i will like to ask you this questions.
have you ever been passionate about anything and asked your self, why?
have you ever been excited that you just have to say something?
Have your ever been amazed and dont now the reason why?
Have you ever been hurt and thought you do not deserve it?
Have you ever loved that you culdnt control your self?

If you can answer in the affirmative any of the above question, think of your experience and put it in writing. THIS iS POETRY. Thank you

Braveheart,
its a nice poem you've written but if its really an expression of your feeling then my advice is just forget about what people say. For what ever you do people always talk. Like Danmaraya rightly put it 'dan Adam mai wuyan gane hali' ne, just follow your conscience and keep your cool.

Guest what do you mean you agree............... Or you are suffering the same 'self imposed predicament' too, cos that how i see it.

May God continue to guide us. SHALOM

Holla kanoonliners!!!!!!  I just want to bring to our conscience that for the care we have for Fulanizzle we are digressing from the aim of the thread 'about the competition', but who will blame us she deserves all the cares. Shalom

Nature is accustomed to being fair
Providing every effort with its befitting share
Could it then be neglectful of a love affair
Where then is the fairness its known to bare

My heart is stolen, is nature there
Or was it my fault that i even cared
She was so sweet i couldn't dare
Call her a thief but it was clear

My one amazement lies only here
She has my heart, why shouldn't i hers
This are my cries, hope nature hears
For as much as i try, couldnt forget her
