African daisy
From the heart of Africa
To the far Antarctica
Traveling through time
So majestic and sassy
Failing to wither or wilt
A respite to the eye
Gyrating in the wind
Cooling the mind with
A soothing smell
Its colours so bright
Taking away your slough
Giving you hope and chimera
With its fragrance and sweet smell
Oh! How I wish
You will learn to
Love the African daisy
The flower with sublime beauty
From the heart of Africa
To the far Antarctica
Traveling through time
So majestic and sassy
Failing to wither or wilt
A respite to the eye
Gyrating in the wind
Cooling the mind with
A soothing smell
Its colours so bright
Taking away your slough
Giving you hope and chimera
With its fragrance and sweet smell
Oh! How I wish
You will learn to
Love the African daisy
The flower with sublime beauty
