Come to think of what happened during the last politically ruled four years where three senate presidents served under one government. The believe was that the whole play makers except but few were all under going learning processes, agreed in principle, yet five years after this learning exercise a duration enough to graduate from a university still the so called "DATTIJAI" are messing up. Well is not their fault the truth is that those who came through the WINDOW must surely go back through the WINDOW. Allah ya sauwake rashin imani da tausayi Ameennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

tabarmar kunya you are right on target. you know the senators we have now are preoccupied about bettering themselves not the nation. Now the Senate president is accused of misappropriating N 100 million and the dogs are barking. Yet, they allow countless opportunities of critiqueing the regime of OBJ because........ you guessed it, they are bribed.
Ban san wanda ya kirkiro kalmar majlisar  dattijai ba amma he was'nt thinking of this crop of people when he thought of it.
The truth is like you said, most of the senators were (s)elected in cloudy circumstances so their main priority is to 'chop' before they are booted out. Most of them do not even know the proper way of conducting themselves in the chambers.
What can we say: karshen alewa kasa..... Boni Haruna should be their sign.

Moga

you quite right! All the snators are bribed! In Russia the situation with the government is the same.

Senators?  Senators my leg!

These crop of chop-chop elderly delinquents have long ago cast whatever decorum they posses to the dogs.

Do we need to recall the el-rufa'i saga?

Or do we need to remind ourselves on their near deitful worship of ghana-must-go?

Our so called Senators, are simply nothing, but a bunch of collaborators in the prevailing merciless politico-economic emasculation of the Nigerian masses.

Our only pay back is to  prepare a befitting reception for them with intifada-like recepticle when they return to canvass our votes.

Let them consult the champion of status-quo-ante on his one of his visit to Kano! :x

yallabai Indabawa nagode. Especially when you said "Let them consult the champion of status-quo-ante on (sic) one of his visit to Kano". That was a good one.
On a sad note, dont you feel betrayed that the chap you are refering to in the above quote was honored with a Doctorate in no other state than our beloved kano?
is it sad?  no. it actually is an outrage. period.
Allah shi rabamu da sharrin masharranta....amin

Mr President had recently vowed to "deal" with NLC(Nigerian Labour Congress),by curbing their strength.

He reportedly boasted that he had set up the labour body when he was a military dictator therefore, he will break up the organisation so as to make it more "democratic".

Now the pertinent question that begs for an answer is how will our senators fare in this decisive game of a clearly anti-people stand of Obasanjo lead Government?

No one should be suprised if the (dis)honourable senators succumed to the temptation of  ghana-must-go, and as a result diched the people that voted them in to their present position.

Did i hear somebody saying that it is impossible?

Mhn! we are talking of Nigerian senators! :(
