THE ROOT OF HAUSA?S PROBLEM

?Firstly, I ?m beginning with seeking for forgiveness from person whom might be offended with this innocuous write up?.

This write up is my view and reasoning, I never for once share or seek anyone?s views on the this issue. Moreover, I did not make any deep research on this issue. It is my view an way of reasoning based on the observations I made concerning some irrational way we, the Hausas are living today.

INTRODUCTION
For quite some time now, I have been studying how other cultures from different other diverse tribes have in Nigeria live their lives. This led me to begin comparing the behaviour of other cultures and that of Hausas. My observation resulted in deep thought and anxiety due to some Hausa behaviours. Despite the sad side, I was still happy because in most other socio-cultural behaviours that of Hausas so precede others relatively. In addition, I observed that socio-cultural activities more according to the teachings and guidance of Islam, temporary to other cultures which are also Muslims.
FIRST PART; ROOT OF HAUSAS PROBLEM
Before I take you deep, I want you to consider the following Hausa proverbs carefully:
a)   ?So duka sone amma son kai yati?
b)   ?Idan jifa yawuce KANKA, to ya fada kan uban kowa?
c)   ?Idan kaga gamun dan uwanka ya kama da wuta, shafa ma NAKA ruwa aimaka aski?
d)   ?Da arziki a garin/gidan waso, gwara arziki a garin/gidan ku.
e)   ?Sai gida ya koshi, skan baiwa dawa?
There are the little I can remember as of the time I was writing this.
Now, what do you comprehend from the above Hausas proverbs? You might have your opinion different from mine but this what my opinion is:
a)   ?So sone????.. why soy?.? Son kai yafi?. According to the Hadith of the prophet (P.B.V.H) ?Love for your Brother what you Love for yourself? if that is what the Islam preaches, then where do you get yours? Mallam Bahaushe?
b)   ?Idan jifa ya wuce???? This clearly shows how self centred the Hausas way of reasoning is! Why not say ?Idan jifa ya wuce kanka to Allah ya kare na baya?
c)   ?Idan kayu gamun dan??..? you hear that? That is the most wicked of him! Why not say ?Idan kaga masa? This signifies He (Hausa) do not give any damn about his fellow one!.
d)   ?Da arziki a garin??? why should not it be put as ?Da arziki a garin/gidan wasu gwara arziki a garin/gidan mu duka? This tells us he rather prefers to get while his fellow one loss!
e)   ?Sai gida ya kashi??? study this carefully, for God sake in this capitalist world we live today, when do you expect the house to be fully satisfied before taking to the ?dawa?. The term Dawa invariably refers to his neighborhood! And all of us Muslims are fully aware of the teachings of Islam and the strict provision for neighborhood  even when they are non Muslims!
But you see how Mallam Baharshe feels about it.
SECOND PART; RELATION WITH CURRENT OCCURRENCES
I believe by now you must have gotten the root of Hausa?s problem, now what can we actually relate proportionally to the contemporary happenings? Indeed the current socio-economic situation of our country is in terrible  situation. Everybody is struggling to earn a living. But the fuet still remains? why is it despite this God forsaking condition, other tribes do help their communities towards self-sustenance and viable development? Why do we lacked this foresightful practice in Hausa land?
Taking education as classical example, the southern part of Nigeria are far ahead of the Northern part generally. The major tribes there, that is the Yorubas and Igbos do contribute money towards the educational enhancement  for the unfortunate and poor ones in the community. In the same line any body that is stingingly rich there, do provide a sort of scholarship allowances for the poor ones in his community. So Mallam Bahaushe, do you have similar exercise in your community? If there is non, then what do you think is possible explanation? Do you think the problem is in our blood? Therefore we can see that there is similarity between those proverbs of ours and that or our socio-cultural and behavioural activities. Considering illiteracy unemployment, lackness and begging which is now our brocast name, we can only say. Na prayers. It is obvious that the God Almighty blessed us (the Hausas) with a very fertile land, intelligent human resource, and unquestionably, very stinkingly rich people. But what a patletic situation? Inspite of all these afore mentioned, we are still tagged with begging, lackness and illiteracy!
Undoubtfully, you can say if the government which has the responsibility of catering for the welfare of it masses failed to do it why dragging the rich? What I want everybody to understand here is; I strongly believe if and only if, our richer once (Muslims) do give out Zakkat a directed and commanded by Allah (S.W.T) without any doubt we would not have been like this. You can object to this, you may have your reason and I have mine, and would not compromise mine until proven otherwise

PART THREE; SOLUTIONS
I?m one of those that believe every problem on earth has it?s solution. Therefore in my way of reasoning, we are lost. We lost our path, we are going contrary to the teachings of Islam in our various daily activities! Our rich do not give our Zakkat as commanded by Allah (S.W.T). The masses are spoilt, selfish, wicked and corrupted, our people are confused and do not differentiated between Halal and Haram, everybody is looking for easy and unproductive way of making big money. Hence corruption, ruthlessness, dubiousness, 419, etc, now the replacement of our honesty trustworthiness, helpfulness and good human relation.
Solution to our problem is basically remembrance of Allah (S.W.T) masses should try and be productive and forget making easy money. The rich should fear Allah (S.W.T) and give our Zakkat to those prescribed and as duly as commanded, traditional rulers should forget hypocrisy wickedness and conspiracy and serve their people dutifully and religiouly. The politicians and big government appointees and civil servants should fear God and show away from looting Public fund for enriching their wives, children and close associates. If these are achieved, then Allah will surely guide us right and provide for us what we feel is beyond our reach!
CONCLUSION
Any system beside the Allah (S.W.T) and prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) system, that system is nothing but a mess and would not be continuous. Therefore the socio-cultural and behavioural practices of the Hausas today, has degenerated to breathtaking state! This led to our confusional and barbaric present anomoly. May Allah (S.W.T) guide us right and provide us with the zeal to follow his commands religiously.

?Ina mai farawa da neman aguwar duk wanda wannan rubutu nawa ba zaiwa dadiba?
wannan rubutu nawa ra?ayin kaina ne, ban taba tattaunawa ko neman shawarar wani ba game du wannan batu. Bugu da kari banyi wani cikakken bincike ba katin wannan rubutu. Suboda haka duk abinda ke cikin wannan rubutu nawa, ran da nake gani game da rayuwar al?umarmu ta Hausa.
GABATARWA.
Na dade ina nazarin irin halayja, da zamantakwewar wasu al?umonin da muke zaune da su a wannan yasa na fara danganta irin halayya da yanayin zamantakewar Hausawa da wadanda ba na Hausawa. Nazarina ya haddasa min zurfaffan tunani da bacin rai wajen wasu halayar Hausawa. Amma duk da haka na kasance mai matukar furin ciki domin kuwa a wasu fanonin da dama, halayen Hausawa sun dame na sauran wajen kyau da inganci sannan kuma, na fahimai cewa, a duk cikin sauran yarukan di duke wannan kasa tamu, Hausawa sun fi gudanar da halayensu ta fanni koyawar addinin musutunci, akasin haka a wasu yarukan duk da kasancewar suma musulmai ne.
KASHIN FARKO; ASALIN MATSALAR BAHAUSHE.
Katin nayi wani bayani mai tsawo, ina son mai karatu yayi nazarin wadannan maganganu.
i)   ?So duka so ne, amma son KAI yafi?
ii)   ?Idan jifa ya wuce KANKA ya fada kan uban kowa?
iii)   ?Idan kaga gemun dan uwanka ya kama da wutu, shafa wa naka ruwa ai maka aski?
iv)   ?Da arziki a garin/gidan wasu, gwamma arziki a garinku/gidanku
v)   ?Sai gida ya koshi a kan bawa dawa?
wadannan kadan dagu cikin wanda zan iya tunawa a yuyin da nake wannan rubutu kenan.
To mai karatu, mai ka fahimta dan gane da wadannan magan ganu? Ra?ayina nakane, amma ni ga nawa:
i)   ?So duka sone??.? Wannan gana nuna mana cewar ka so. Kanka fiye da dan uwanka wanda manza Allah (S.W.T) cewa yayi ?ka sowo dan uwanka abinda ka suwa kanka? To Mallam Bahaushe dan mene za kafi son kanka?
ii)   ?Idan jifa ya wuci??? wannan shima yana nuna mana tsabar son kai na Mallam Bahaushe, mai zai hana yace ?Idan jifa ya wuce kanka to. Allah ya kare na baya?
iii)   ?Idan kaga gemun dan??.? To kai fa kayi wani tsabagen son sai da rashin son dan uwa! Mai zai hana yace ?Idan kaga gamun dan?uwan ya kama da huta, nemo ruwa ka shafa masa?? wato sai ka shufuwa naka ruwa shi kuwa dan uwanka ko oho!
iv)   ?Da arziki a garin??.? Mai zai hana yace da arziki a garin wasu, gwamma arziki a garin mu duka? wato  cewar a garinmu/gidanmu yana nuna shi wancan yu rasa!
v)   ?Sai gida ya koshi??? mai karatu kayi nazarin wannan da kyai. A wannan zamani na jari hujja, yaushe ka tuna sune makwabta! Duk mun sani cewa musutunei yayi gargadi game d hakkin makwabtaka, to amma kaji shi ra?ayin Mallam Bahaushe!
KASHI NA BIYU ALAKA DA ABIN DAKE FARUWA, YANZU
To mai karatu ka karantu Asalin matsalarmu, yanzu me zamu iya ganewa tare da alakantawa game da abubuwan dake faruwa yanzu? Hakikanin gaskiya ne cewa a wannan zamani da muke ciki abubuwa sun tabarbare, kowa takansa yake. To amma abin dubawa, shin su wadada ba Hausawa ba yaya suke ui suke taimakawa junansu da cimar da kawunansu gaba? Idan muka dauki karatun boko, zamio ga cewa sukam sunyi nisa! Su kan hada kudi a gunduma guda daon su dauku nauyin marasa galihu acikinsu. Haka kuma duk wani wanda Allah ya harewa abin hannunsa yakan ware masu makudan kudi dan samar da guraban karatu ga marasa tarfi na wannan gunduma tasa. Mallam Bahaushe yaya? Hakan na faruwa a gundumarmu kuwa? Idan hakan baya faruwa menene dalili? Shin abin a jininmu yakene? Wato kaga akwai alaka tsakanin wadanancan maganganu da halayyar Bahaushe.
Ta fannin jahilci, fakirci, talaucida kuma Almajirci kuwa, abin sai Du?ai sanin kowane cewa Allah ya albarkace mu da mayalwaciyar kasar noma, mai albarka. Haka kuma ya ba duk da kasancewar mashahuran Attajiran mu, talauci, rashin aikin yi, fakirci da bara sun zame wani tambari a ksashen mu (wato garuruwan hausa). Hakika mai karatu kan iya cewa to don me mai arziki zai fitar da dukitarsa yataimaka idan ita gwamnati bata tayi hakan ba? To abin wadannan wanda Allah ya azirta da dunbun dukiya a garuruwan Hausa, suna fitar da zakka yadda Allah ya zayyana mana ba tare da hainciba to tabbas da yanzu wahala rashin aikinyi, fakirci da bara da suka dabaibaye al?umar mu basu kai haka ba. Idan da ja, to ni nasaki amma nayi imanin hakan kuma bazan tba canza wannan tunani nawa ba har sai an tabbatar min da aka sin hakan
KASHI NA UKU MASALAHA
Na yarda babu matsalar da bata da hanyar warwarewa. Saboda haka a irin nawa tunanin, jama?a munbar tafarkin musulunci a tsarin rayuwarmu ta fannini dabam-dabam. Masu kudinmu basu fitar da zakka yadda Allah ya umarcemu da muyi. Talakawan mu sun baci, son zuciyu, lalaci, da mutuwar zuciya sunci karfin mu. Al?umma ta kasance cikin rudani ba?a fidda halal daga haram, cuta, hainci da algus sune suka maye gulbin koyarwar manzo Allah (A.W.T) ta son juna, gaskiya, rikon amana da inganta mu?amala.
Masalaha anan shine mu komawa Allah, talakawa su dage da neman nakai yan kasuwa suyi adaki du sanya tsoron Allah da Allah, su fidda zakka yadda Allah yu umarta kuma su baiwa mabukata wanda suka dace. Sarakunanmu suji tsoron Allah su dain zalunci, da munafunci tare sa san rai. Shugabanin mu su raunaci Allah tare da tso ron gamuwarsu suyi adalci, su dai na kwashe kudin takakawa suna azirta kansu da ?ya?yansu. To idan mu kai haka hakika, Allah zai bamu yalwa da ci gaban al?umar mu.
KAMMALAWA
Duk wani tsarin da ba Allah da sunna Annabi (S.A.W) a cikinsa to wannan ba tsari bne kuma ba shi dorewa. Soboda haka al?adar Bahaushe a yar ta jirkata ta fannoni da dama wanda hakan ya haifar mana da matsanancin halin da muke ciki ayau Allah yayi manu jogoranci kuma ya bamu damar dagewa wajen bin tafarici madai daici.
