Salaam,

Ibro2g, thank you for the concern shown. In the recent past I signed a contract with a foreign NGO that wants to get in to the depth of my thoughts in poetry and short stories and publish them in one collection. Since then, all of my(except very few) deliberate and non-deliberate poetic thoughts are being reserved purposely for that  and I intend  to keep them away from the public as the contract requires until after they appear first in a published form by the NGO.

Thank you once again for the care expressed. Meanwhile, the following verses are for you, for your concern.

Ibro2g,

Verse will not desert me---
Even when I come nigh deserting verse
I am a child of verse
For my 7th grandfather is of verse

Mahmood, Sulayman and Salih---
All wrote in verses so terse
AbdulJalil, Muhammad, Umar(Waziri)---
Lived in the auspices of verse
Iyal Waziri did his best---
and now little Ibraheem gives it pass

Hey!!!! Hold that your peace---
The reader of this piece
For the name Mahmood---
must not ring some bells
It is from memroies---
His voice re-echoes
From the space of 300 years---
He seeds our souls
That we may grow poets(poorts)---
As ordained by the most Wise.

Though poor are my endeavours
Yet it is a bliss I share
Since it is in the footsteps
of my ancestors my threads

Oh! when I was born---
there---
was a verse
Yes verses are here when I am rise
And them will make my area  when come my falls

As I come to clutch my death in sheets
So shall I pray like Josephus the honoured of saints
When came nigh of him giving up the ghosts
So he opened up in milder shouts:

"My Lord!, you bestowed in me some powers
You came forward to me some wiseness
Take my soul back to you, a Muslim, of peace
And merge me among those( of my ancestors) in your trusts
"

NOTE*

Ibro that may not sound sweet cos I am in maximum rush. See ya'll

I am back Waz,

"And so we pray and so Ibro2g preys
That we may not the vulnerable preys
Of the venomous spittings of some guests"

Hey!!! Kola, so you can speak verse.  I was just reading thru' what I had above before it occurred to me that it can be modified to sound sweeter. Like how about sacrificing the RHYTHM of the work for the RHYME in order to achieve a more beutiful as well bountiful cadence out of the work. Any idea please??????????????????????????
