What does "Magana Jari Ce" means in english. I know that the TV adaptation of the book translated it as "Wisdom is an asset". I just don't feel it is correct. Am I wrong?

IBB,

you see, this is a proverb, even in Hausa.
Therefore, to find a translation that may sound "right"
may be a little difficult.
The closest is "Wisdom is an Asset."

I may be wrong.

Sumba - kiss
Sumbanta - Kissed

French kiss should be; Sumba mai harshe  or Sumbanta da harshe

Hallucination is the closest thing to santi in English. As there is no exart word for french kiss in Hausa.
