Let me start.

There is this website i found called Finspread. I registered with them and open an account with them. What they do is Financial spread betting it is based on a simple concept. If you think that a certain financial market or product will rise in value, then you buy the product. If you think that a certain financial market or product will fall in value, then you sell it.

Once you have bought a financial market or product that you believe will rise in value, then in due course, if your prediction is correct, you can sell the market or product for a profit. (If you are incorrect and the value falls, you make a loss.)

My question here is. Is this "gambling"? Because one can make an abnormal gain or loss just like gambling. I hope my question is clear? Thank you

Kai DB ;D Don Allah a fassara mana. What I don't understand from IBB's post if whether the trading he's doing at that website is for real. Or is it a gaming website?

IBB

No is for real BG. Guess wat i stake 0.10p and gained 1.90pounds I staked another 0.10p I gained 5.00pounds let me cut the story short I gained closed to 20.00pounds from 0.30p from morning till now.

I have the feeling is not gambling cos in one of my modules I did sumtin called Financial Option where you buy commodities future price and you profit from the movement of the price.

You wanna try it is really a cool money. However the problem is, is it clean money?

Interesting thing.

From my own perspective, if it involves intelligent speculations based on news gathered or some intelligence indicators then it is not gambling.

I can say this thread will be of importance to us--students more than any body in the forum as we are going to be asking question, sometimes related to our field of study. Mind, am not going to be asking the assignment question for you guys to do but some other questions. ::)

Keep it up IBB. Long life Kanoonline and its members.
