FIRE TRAGEDY IN MAIDUGURI
« on: February 14, 2008, 10:53:44 AM »
We woke up early this morning to witness a fire tragedy
which gulped down completely the newly constructed
Ultra Modern Hospital along Bulunkuttu Road in which
preparations are at top gear for its commissioning by
His Excellency Mr. President.

The last time i visited this hospital, i am highly elated, and
I was told by a medical expert i met at the site that this
hospital will be compared to any hospital within the nation
putting into consideration the type of sophisticated and
modernised equipments installed.

Whatever I am going to say about this burnt down hospital
will not suffice, only those who saw the hospital will appreciate
what i am saying.

There is rumours going round that there are pockets of
individuals who are not in good terms with the governor of the
state and they are ready to sabotage whatever effort he
made in impressing the people of the state, especially as the
president has granted approval of his coming to commission
the hospital on 21st February, 2008.

Whatever the case is, the poor man is at the receicing end, i cant
remember any of the family of Ali Sheriff going to our public hospital,
they have their family clinic and if at all the case is above the
standard here they travel out of the country for check up.  So if
at all the perpetrators of this evil act did it to harm ALi Sheriff, nay
they have not succeeded, they only succeeded in harming the
ordinary citizen of Borno State whose money was used to build
the hospital.

Welcome to Maiduguri
