Looking Down
« on: September 23, 2008, 01:06:41 PM »
I have a sleeveless shirt and with tears I looked up for a better shirt
And down came with my sight bountiful sleeveless and I was helpless
I cried I had no shoes and down the ladder one without legs
I saw other armless with no sleeve and without sleep

I saw the lame, the blind and I saw many more deformed, the frailed
Down the ladder I saw the glory and beyond the shallow grave
Untill then, I understood the wisdom of looking down the steps
It gave me the peace to know that I was better on the steps

Looking down the steps with dried tears, I glorified the exalted
But looking up never but for the humility and for the gloriuos
I learnt to be what it takes to be insatiable ambition
A lazy youth is definitely a begging adult! Bata hankalin Dare ka yi suna!: Fas'alu ahalil zikri, inkuntum la ta'alamun!
