His Excellency, Mamman B. Ali died at the age of 50

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'una
early this morning, borno and yobe state woke up with a rumour
of the death of the yobe state executive governor, senator mamman
b. ali.  later on, the news was confirmed that the governor died in
the states, it was also later leanrt that he died of leukemia (ina doctors?).

we pray Allah to forgive him his sins and may his death also serve
as an eye opener to all of us.

meanwhile we are waiting for his corpse to arrive.

i promised to brief you guys on every progress report.

while we are expecting the corpse of late mamman b. ali
at the maiduguri international airport at 8pm or 9 pm,
the former deputy governor was sworn in as the new
executive governor of yobe state, while it has been
recommended that the immediate junior brother of the
late governor be nominated for the post of the deputy
governor (its seems to be a compensation to the family).

if the corpse arrived this night, together with all the
dignitaries who have arrived maiduguri from far and near
will accompany the corpse to potiskum local govt where
it will be prepared for burial tomorrow morning ISA.

mr. president (baba go slow) is expected to arrived
maiduguri, the capital city of borno tomorrow 800am
in company of his ministers and other friends and well
wishes of the late governor (though the president is
still on leave).  from maiduguri, they will proceed to
potiskum for the final burial.

rumours is going all around that when the death of the
MAL was announced officially, some people were seen
celebrating in nguru local government area of the state.

i am now going to the airport and report back immidiately.
