Title: What i've come to realise!
Post by: gogannaka on June 28, 2009, 12:25:47 AM
Usually in life we tend to realise many things that were not as we thought they were/are.
As we grow older and wser we realise the reality in many things.
Lets keep posting what we have come to realise in life.

Is true man.
One thing i come to realise is no matter how fast you want and you think things will happen, it really dont happen till its time come.
So all i can say is we should stop been fast on things, when its time comes, it will happen.

The thread is very interesting; and the theme very true.

Well, what I have just come to realize is that; truth-worthy friends are quite scarce these days. You might be confining your privacy to a friend, falsely thinking he'd regard your secret as secret but he... :o :o :o May Allah prevent us from slipping into such ditches, amin.

@BKGZ,

Am afraid if Madam gets knowledge of your intention or worst, get access to K-Online and read your comment. ::)

Many people tried as much to attain certain goal in life, taking their aim as supreme, superb and ultimate.
but recently i came to realised whoever wants to succeed in life, his parents' nod, consent and approval
is a corner stone.

I have that it is better not to argue with idiots; they drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience!

I have come to realise that many a times we fail to appreciate the things we have untill we lose them.

LOL,Husnaa her name isn't phoebe.

I didn't lose anyone  :P.

Here is some excerpt i got from a mail.
It makes some sense to me and i think i have come to realise its is quite true.

Here are excepts:

Interesting quote from the movie "Why did I get married?"
In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED
and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship.
There is always another person (man or women) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT
And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship.
But the problem is that you will always be tempted to leave that good 80% that you know you have,
thinking that you will get something better with the other 20% that you WANT
But as reality has proven, in most cases, you will always end up with having the 20% that you WANT
and loosing the 80% that you really NEED and that you already had.
Be careful in deciding between what you WANT and NEED in your life.

That is falsafar Turawa.  I dont agree somehow, saboda if  look at the whole it is talking about those who end up having extra marital affairs. The 20% is that which is obtained outside the bounds of legality. That is why it always turns sour. On the other hand if you can obtain it legally, you will end up having at least 96% of what u want and need!! ;D ;D ;D

Husnaa if the case is regarding extra marital affairs, then you are right.
But when it is for those who are not yet married like myself, the philosophy holds.

DB muna jiran ka..lol

Its even less true for unmarried bachelors like yrslf GGNK, taking into account yr society and yr cultural bckgrd.
Like i said falsafar bature ce. For Turawa it applies both whether u are married or not, since yanzu a kasashen turawa da yawa, many ppl dont even bother to tie the knot , but live together as partners. That is how they get to know whether they are at the receiving end of only the 80%. You on the other hand who isnt going to practice Wa Joko (We hope ;D ;D ;D), cant begin to know what percentage will be allocated to u until u tie the knot, ko ba haka ba? What ever u think u are getting befor marriage in terms of the sort of platonic relationships that u  have with the girl u intend to marry, is only  an apparent indication of what it might necessarily be and not what it will likely be.

I think you have successfully confused me  ???
Title: Re: What i've come to realise!

Hahahahaha!!!
If u cant convince 'em, confuse 'em!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Lets put it this way, If u were looking for 20% elsewhere lets say, u wouldnt have to LEAVE yr partner (who would under the circumstances be yr wife, given the society u come from). You'd marry the 20% and have both yr 80% and yr 20% under one roof. It is then u may realize that you may have overlooked the value of yr 80%, but then you wouldnt have to go through the regret of losing the 80% cos its still there and probably with interest on top since the acquisition of the 20% from elsewhere. So in other words u may end up a winner!!! Look up what BKG wrote on this thread about what he has come to realize!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nima i have been 'unconfused'  ;D

I will not respond however, because i might confuse myself again.

In the meantime,
I have come to realize that most times we spend time talking about other peoples problems and bad habits. We most often don't see our own problems or bad habits.

I have come to realize if you do things to others for Allah's sake you will hardly get to regret, even when the person/people fail to appreciate.
