Kano State Private Schools.

Kano is well known with private schools and now must of them are afraid because the kano state government are doing something which they are suppose to do since 80`s.Any way this is not a sin rather we can call it a repair in our education.And i will also want the kano state government to urge all private shools to reduce their school fees which is running out of control and most schools now are competing to see the school wiht the highest school fees. BYE>>>

Can you or any person please elaborate on what Kano State is doing to the Private Schools? This sounds very interesting.

I think the best way to have these private schools lower or at least slow the one way upper movement of School fees, is for the Government to improve the quality of the Government owned School

and yeah... improve and MAINTAIN the qualities in govt schools... many intelligent kids there...

Assalamu Alaikum

It is not the responsibility of a government to fix fees and prices( to private enterprises) in a free market economy like Nigeria's. Lassiez Faire- the ideal capitalist model- dictates that govt must not interfere with the normal conduct of a private enterprise. The govt should, however, regulate sensitive sectors of the economy (educational) so that enterprenuers dont exploit their consumer.
If it will sound silly for you learn govt is fixing prices for tsire or koko or danwake.... etc, then it is fair to find silly- a policy of the government that enforces school fees for schools.
Alas, no one is forcing people to take their kids to a private school.

Gaskiya kam school fees din wasu private schools din yayi yawa, but at the same time, they give good education  ;D. If the government is to reduce fee din private schools, it shud first consider gyara government schools. IMHO  :-X. Cause yanzu kam karatu sai mai kudi...makarantun gwamnati sun zama abunda suka zama...ba karatu sosai, ga kuma yajin aiki. All who's fault??? the GOVERNMENT!!!  Allah ya gyara, Ameen

naw man... less intelligents...a.k.a. stooopid kids.. should be thrown away...  :P haha.. juss kidding!!!!!!!!
OF COURSE!!!!!!!! but lets say HARD WORKING STUDENTS!! not the lazy non-intelligent ones...
students who are good in sports, or sewing, farming, or manually-gifted kids.. should be given oppurtunities... TRUE!

but not random scholarships.. some people arent that self-disciplined...
