Sitting beneath the moonlight
Grandma told majical stories
Of past kings and great men alike
A tale much to our own delight

In the middle of sweet moment
The moon that uttered light was gone
As though it was kidnapped by the sun
Indeed some say "a time of great torment"

And suddenly all was dark
Grandpa and kinsfolk rose from their backs
With drums they came and sat to pray
And mellowed praises of pleading tune
To their "beloved gods made of clay

The faithfuls knelt in true grief
And prayed to God in fear
While the arrogant vibrated:
"Let it go,we don't care

Alas the leanered shouted:
"This is all but geography"
And after minutes thatt semmed never ending
It reappered as though returned from lendind
