Title: North and 2007 Election
Post by: analyst on March 13, 2005, 09:27:49 PM
If you continues to live in this world you will see many wonderful things, if you cannot see, just close your eyes.

This is an introduction to North and 2007 election. I don't know what is wrong with our dear Arewa leaders, may God reward The late Sardauna of Sokoto Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello and Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa with Aljannah Firdaus Amin, what they have done to Arewa will never ever vanish till the end of this world. This is what our dear Arewa leaders suppose to imitate, but for where? Anybody that has a chance to help will not help he prepare to steal people's money take it to abroad.

Ahah! this is where God will catch them. If I asked you how many Northern governors that want to join presidential train? Will you tell me? So, let me give you the answer by myself, all the 19 states governors want join the train. You will hear this people from one place are supporting this governor to join the train, let me tell you they are just fooling them, "chop money an waka" but Hausa proverb says "Kayan ruwa na Ruwane" means "what ever you get for nothing will go for nothing" which is true.

Finally, I wish to draw the attention of our dear Arewa leaders that they should please and please join their head  togather and fight with anything that will dis - organise us. Let Mallam Musa Abdullahi and John Yakubu fight aginst Adebayo and Chukuma. :?

Salam

I think Northern leaders has failed its people. That is not to say I do not wish for the next president of NIgeria to come from the North. But, for this to happen, we need to present fresh faces not the 60 something General Babangida or late 50's Atiku. My belief in the candidacy of Gen BUhari is still intact even if I realise that the enemies of progress will not let him be.
So, I dare say why can't we the North  present a clean person like Nasir El-Rufa'i, Ibrahim Shekarau, Nuhu Ribadu or Adamu Mu'azu. If there is one thing that ties all these gentlemen together, other than age and attending ABU, it is their exemplary leadership. They can, without doubt in my mind, take off that age old belief, in the south, that all the North could offer are some old Sardauna proteges- not forgetting his ideals have been betrayed by such people.
