I am doing a project that compares traditional medicine to western medicine. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight about traditional medicine. For example the use of herbs, words, and rituals to cure ailments. Thanks.

that's an excellent idea. :D

my aunt once had lumps in her neck... she went to some gwari people.. i think outskirts of abuja... and she got treated there... the lumps never came back...
her son got lumps on his neck when he was about 23... and he went to the modern-day hospital.. he died as soon as the doctors touched the lumps.

so ask anyone with connections with gwari.. i dont think i'll be able to reach my aunt and ask her where exactly she got treated.. it was waaaay back..
