The Northern peace conference......Buhari, Masari, Blame Northern Govs for Religious Conflict.
Am not in total agreement..
I think they blamed "leadership" which invariably boils down to he Governors. Did you hear read Mallam Yahaya Gusaus speech at the inauguration of the ACF's board a day earlier? It was a classic that moved many to tears. It summed up everything wrong with us and the system, but invevitably also pointed a finger at the leaders.
For me it the conference was the same old rhetoric with a particular generation shouting out Sardaunas praises, forgetting that if he was the hero of their generation then who is the Sardauna that I can use as a reference to all good amongst them? Some of us were not even born when the Sarduana left us for the great beyond.

the peace conference is a charade. It's done for purely political reasons and I believe it will not achieve the desired results.
Buhari and Masari have every right to berate Northern Govnors but I dont think it's entirely fair to say they are solely responsible.
Those responsible are the politicians who see opportunity in genarating chaos.

Who are the middle belters?
George Akume of Benue state was physically there,so was Kwara,Niger and Kogi were all adequately represented.
