Since when has Arse become the greatest club in the world? ;D They are not even the best in London. I agree though that they play good football. The expression "Greatest in the world" is reseved for teams like AC Milan, Ral Madrid and one or two others.

Arsenal's presnt standing on the league table i asure is temporary,anyway Arsenal beat the 1st & 3rd teams 2wce this season as well as giving the 2nd a very good game for its 'money's' worth.LOL...not worried at all,on the contrary in 2-3 yrs time(not 4 or 5) its the money bags should be worried.

Lest i forget...what happened in Italy recently is a shame..jus cos italian fans suffer terrible games doesnt mean they should take it out on a poor policeman...
i recommend therapy...and ofcoure 1yr of watching better quality footbal ...gunners style!!

Unfortunately(or is it fortunately)I didnt watch the match.but i heard PSV played obscenely defensive football.They were originally aiming for a draw but they got their goal so they decided to set camp in their half.This obviously had a frustratung effect on the gunners.Henry like every Great player has his bad days and good days....so ineednt say more
Actualy opposing sides have realized that the way to get the better of Arsenal is to play defensive right from mid-field as well as clogging up their penalty area.
When you attempt to play attacking football..thats when you end up being gunned down
Wenger has been bemoaning this fact right from the beginning of this season but I can't understand why he hasn't come up with a suitable solution

Well I thought the
young guns held up very well against the senior side of CFC- they showed skill,confidence and resilience but the all important ingredient of experience was missing and this was very telling.
CFC appropriately capitalized on this short-coming (honestly I didn't xpect any thing less from them) and won the trophy. Though I was bit amused @ how they treated their victory as they wud winning the Champions league.
The carling cup, I might add, was initially inaugurated with the lower division teams in mind-it was meant to be an avenue for them to get some glory(as well as cash of course) and customarily, 'top-flight' teams only fielded young talent or their reserve sides for the competition....as opposed to how CFC treated it as a 'do or die' affair.
I was hugely disappointed @ how the Young guns let frustration get the batter of them and acting they way they did, very uncharacteristic of arsenal players
...So y'll shud watch out for when next

The defender was Senderos. What was Wenger thinking putting Senderos at RB?? The dude is a CB and has no pace. When I saw him up against Mccarthy on the left flank I knew it was all over for Arsenal.
As for today's game against PSV; it doesn't look good for Arsenal either; four starters out thru injury (as usual).
Sanderos is also bad at the central defensive position. He has caused Arsenal too many games this season
The last two weeks have been very terrible for the Gunners.
Accumulation of frequent injuries of key players and congested match calendar had a toll on the team
Arsenal is lacking a couple of experienced world class players-an experienced central defender and a top class finisher...
Arsene Wenger is beginning to sound like a broken record after every defeat talking about 'we had the chances to score a second goal..........They were only dangerous on counter-attacking or on set-pieces..... We lack a little bit of sharpness, and of course I feel as well we lacked a bit of quality.......'etc etc

Even if they (the gunners) go the whole season without a trophy (mind you i said if,and only if), believe it or not they have played (and are still playing) the most entertaining football than any other team in the world. I always had a little problem with the players he (Wenger) fields, but he has really proved me wrong this season. Even his second team is, without doubt, qaulitative enough to take on the first teams of Man Utd, Chelsea and their likes.
They've shown that Arsenal could survive without Henry.
You're, but I don't like the way Fabregas was always shooting up his mouth on the issue. He was always mentioning it. It's like he has something against Henry.
Maybe he has better reasons for saying that. He, im sure, is a very much cool headed guy than Henry. So if there's anyone with a problem,i can bet it'll surely be Henry and not the young spaniard.

No, a primary school kid doesn't even know the meaning of a high horse. You are deemed to be on a high horse when you don't deserve to be there. The records speak for themselves. Milan is the most successful club in the history of world football, with 18 international trophies. They are the immediate past winners of the champions league and the world club cup. So its not a matter of
past glory. Milan is the past, present and the future. And its not a matter of getting blood transfusion. You might get polluted with a wrong donor. The issue is having the
right DNA.
Of course the resent Milan squad would need an addition or two to rejuvenate it, but the nucleus of the team would still be there. Like I said the Arse deserved their win, but we are over it. Its no big deal. We've seen everything there is to see in European football. We've seen the Good (our first CL win in '62/63 and the famous 4-0 bashing of Barca in the '94 CL win), the Bad (losing to Ajax in the '95 CL final) and the Ugly (getting knocked out of the CL at home by lowly Rosenborg in '96). So we lose to Arse. So what? It just goes to show how small a club Arsenal is, if you guys are still gloating over a single match victory, in a cup that you've never ever won, and may not likely win. Just get on with it and prove your victory is no fluke, by winning the damn cup. Which would of course be your fist time.

Well, I can't remember anyone asking for that. Just like you failed to mention the time Milan beat Arse 2-0 in the past. It's not important to me to dig it up. We beat English teams lotsa times. And we also lost to them some times. So what? What matters at the end is 'what did my club win". We beat two english clubs last year, enroute to winning our
7th Champions League cup. That's what matters. And that's what should matter to you also, unless if your's is a pish-poor club, always in 'developing', but never there. Yet.

It is expected. They lack squad depth, no real hunger for winning mentality, while Wenger has made 'playing beautifully' his priority. At the end of the day, the beautiful football has come to nought!

Thank you zizo. However, it seems ur congrats on our league position is premature ;D We've bungled it yesterday. I'm beginning to think Fio deserves the fourth place more than us.
Now on Flamini, I believe it is a good move for him and Milan. He's a tireless worker, technically good, young and can a goal now and then. He would bring a fresh breath of air to our midfield, especially as Gattuso seem to be losing steam of late. As for him well, he is getting an immensely improved pay package. Plus he has more chance of winning trophies here than at Arsenal. And he get to play with the world champions 8) ;D
The Mourinho-to-Milan rumour has resurfaced, yeah, but I don't think there's anything to it. That said, u can't say with certainty what would happen, but I for one would welcome him. At least it would be fresh ideas on the bench, as Carlo Ancelotti seemed to cocooned in his usually predictable tactics/formations.
