Another Day
poetry(on Thisday publication and Kaduna crisis)

the pen releases amunitions thisday
fire caught innocent psyches up to friday
minutes and hours smoking as in february
roars of agony off the microphone of peace in May
the November hope is now burried in the clay
poles fall apart during the play
crisis trade centre now bargains with blood as the pay
reluctant agents spectating never minding the delay
tranquility is migrating day by day
and confusion is building a palace on the way
the tanker of intolerance now has a say
let the poem wear the wig of justice today
and bring to book the scorpions that went astray
until we shed tears of gratitude to whom we pray
two thumbs up , no three 4 u.
