12th September, 2007/ 1st Ramadan

havent taken my sahur, only Allah knows how I am
going to end todays fasting - **yawn again*** (supra)

I believe UK, US, AND SAUDI are going to start fasting tomorrow Insha Allah. Allah yasa muga farkon da karshen shi lafiya, Allah ya bamu karfi, lafiya, ni'ima da ladan dake cikin wannan wata na ramadan. Amin.

It was reported that the moon was sighted last night at many places in Nigeria...

Sultan Sa'ad announced late last night that the Ramadan crescent was sighted in Sokoto, Argungu, Kaduna, Funtua, Dutsinma, Bakori, Kano, Zaria, Gusau, Kauran Namoda, and Ilorin, among other places.

Also quite a few countries started Ramadan this year on Wednesday...
Most Muslims Sight Ramadan Tuesday.

Thot when the moon is sighted every1 have to start. Does location matter? y sai gobe

Allah daya gari bamban, i seroiusly dont know why its done like this. It should be that
way as you've stated when the moon has been sighted anywhere in the world we should
all take up fasting but still dont have answer for that ???

while its maghrib in Nigeria, I am very sure
its morning in another different country.

14th Sept., 2007

Wash....., in Kano busy doing "Gaisuwan surukai", its damn
not easy.  Started right from the brides family house with
her dad at Gwangwazo, then Yakasai, aka yi ta shiga dani
lunguna, infact i cant drive my car  through them,  i just
have to trek round.  In my place, we only say hello to the
Brides Dad.  I couldnt finish till 6pm when i took off to MAID.
