Damn the creature
Damn the creature, Oh lord.
The creature which calls your name in vain
To receive glory, honor and power
It knows not the responsibility of power
Nor the fragility of honor
Nor the price for glory
How it hastes to its mistakes, instead
I may forge forgiveness for my harsh condemnation
Alas, the creature is incapable of forgiveness
As it appears to abuse it's talent for survival
Bring forth the moment of truth
Until all notice shame and hopelessness
Let justice reign through all that breathed
Save the generous, the oppressed and hopelessness
Whose effort to inspire honor and sanity is punished
My campaign is a furious Faux Pax
Unless my eyes are cheated by a spell
I cannot deny kinship with this creature
Even as I carry burdens of my kith
I chase an end to rescue me
For my deepest fear is gaining on me
I shall awake one day with brute fangs
An appetite for greed and lust of living
and emerge the wretch I compete to be
I may wake to find myself one day
become the creature
I long detest.
