I would like to contribute to this community about Internet
security / scams and how to avoid them.

- People who shop online must make sure the website they are purchasing stuffs have a well verified internet security certificate (IIS).

- If you'r using your credit card online, you should open another bank account so as the one you shop online with, will have small amout of money while the other account will contain the large sum.

- Never give out your credit card details or anything else to anyone on the internet.

- Never respond or reply to any junk mail. Just DELETE. Especially those friendly people who will ask for your account details and promise to give you  $50,000,000. JUST DELETE IT.

Thanks for the info. ?It's just odd that your posting coincide with a Nigerian scam spam I received today in my inbox.

The perpetrators have given Nigeria and Africa a bad name...

Let me add that if your credit card is somehow ripped off you should report any unauthorized transaction as soon as you are aware of it.  That way you're not responsible for paying for it and still can enjoy credit card or debit card privileges with minimal hassles.

It's a good habit for online shoppers to monitor their accounts once a day or once every other day.

People will steal your money...

Yes you are right.
some months ago, some hakers stole the address of
HSBC bank. so that if you type hsbc.com, it will take
you to another address. which in this case you enter
all your banking details and they will use it on you.

Even these popup adverts that says: you have won or
click to claim your prise, Just don't respond to these
adverts.  :o

;D PORN is the best way to con someone who can't control their lowly desires.  That's why it's so profitable.  If you ever pay to access a filthy porn site you'd better use a gift card with visa or mastercard logo.  That way you don't have to worry about much of your money getting ripped off.
