Good greetings,

Tis only that I am wondering. Not that I am worrying. For as a person, I am not emotionally dependent i.e. to say: my sense of security, my self worth or happiness doesn’t necessarily come from how well I am treated by others.

I am value-based and value-driven; not feeling-based or feeling-driven. That is why the only person I try to impress in my life is nobody other than MYSELF.

As I said earlier, I am only wondering as to why must DymeQueen resorts to pegging me “DELUDED LUNATIC” in our discussion __AL’ADA KO ADDINI.

Just for the simple reason that I harbor different opinion from hers???????  

I smelled the rat since after her first response to my comment in the one posted by Kamil. Then I thought being Tom I should chase the Jerry to see the extent our lady intellectual could go with the discourse.

Okay. Granted. Waziri is a “deluded lunatic”. But why is it that it is only DymeQueen that has the mouth to say it???? Why must she be that intolerant and in courteous person who resorts to using cheap emotions by attacking personalities when it is only issues and ideas are discussed?????

Why must DymeQueen’s responses be always emotionally based as opposed to being intellectually based?????

What is it she envies????? Why the sheer display of inferiority complex????

No. Dyme. A prospective husband, if he is good upstairs and response-able, be him of the Aryans, Caucasians, Black-African, a Muslim or Hausa will certainly find that interesting. His would-be wife having emotional inadequacies that make her easily call strangers’ names anyhow, regardless of the fact that the strangers may be his business partners, friends or even relatives.  

Well, DymeQueen may be a juvenile. But the truth remains. What we put on kanoonline has the potency of staying on the information superhighway for decades. Our children and grand children may ask us questions like: “Why is it that we do not have emotional control?”

Lastly.

I have a strong feeling that a good collection of kanoonliner--since many of us are in their early twenties now--- will certainly form the crew of toorrow-northern-nigerian-leaders and we will certainly hope to do better that what the present leaders are doing now. It seems there fore desired that we should develop good background on character ethics as well as personality ethics, that we may not turn out to be a bunch of embarrassment to all.

     Waz, u r kinda right, what eva we reap we shall sow, plus whateva we leave behind shall be seen by those ahead of us. Not just dyme or anyother, I mean we should all be careful with what we do and say...even if nothing, but for the benefit of our heritage and prides.

Mallam Waziri you know I have been thinking. Thinking that you will make a good politician. You know pumping those macho words with eloquence and reason. No one can do better. What say's you?
Anyway, you are right. Personal attacks at people who are virtually non existent ( being just members of a forum) is counterproductive and indeed pointless. "In zagi na kari" for those who understand Hausa.
But then, Waziri you must understand women are emotional- that is if Queen is a woman. And it might be that what you wrote was unaaceptable to her and the only way she could get you is by using the inproper language.
But then, who amongst us will say he doesnt do such things? NOt me for sure and most certainly not many of us. So, shouldnt that give queen some measure of justification? iam not sure but I think it does.
Finally,  it does not good to reply bad for bad as the prophet Lukman explained to his son. By saying " Why must DymeQueen's responses be always emotionally based as opposed to being intellectually based??" you are in a sense using the wrong approach to solving the impasse.

A good politician? Well, I take that to be a compliment. But the truth of the matter is: I am not hurt an itch by dyme.

The truth of the matter is we cannot just fold our arms seeing her chasing ppl away from k-online just like that(rd Ali Hamza pls). And also abnormal situations naturally require abnormal approach. Amin follow the disscussion carefully, you will see how I have tried my best to give her the best of handlings.

Amin, sometimes we can't help going by the Arabian poet,Al-motannabi's method:"You control the noble-hearted by being generous to him but if you are generous to the evil-hearted he will revolt" or in a  softer way "Let us balance in speech as coins and match in deeds as sandals".

waziri, we all sometimes make the same mistake in the heat of the moment. apart from that unfortunate 'adini ko alada' i don't think there r any instances where i've noticed her 'incourteousness'. so let's give it a rest and remember that this is an internet forum, exposed to all and sundry, not just somebody's private party.

'Gaskiya dachi gareta' and believe me we all felt shocked when this war business started. But that does not mean we should shield the truth to let rumors or false reign.

Also, Uday- Saddams son, is known and indeed confessed to living a life of infidels. $600000 worth of liquor was seized from his house. Are such people really the one's we should sympathsize with? i think i said b4 on another thread that very sensitive ppl/very opinionated ppl may not enjoy political or other naturally-heated discussions. Why, because you will almost always be hurt by the comments of another person, or think everyone else are fools and thus insult them (intentionally or not). This does not mean that we should not try to be civil in our discussions. I guess the term 'deluded lunatic' does not cut it as part of civil discussion (btw where does DQ use this term in her parlay w/ waziri?)

on another note let me ask u guys a question. supppose i came in here and posted an argument on, oh, let's say - the late sir ahmadu bello's responsibility in helping the cause of ethnic politics in nigeria and his indirect responsibility for the uproar in the west b/w awolowo and akintola supporters which led to the first coup. Will i be insulted? o definitely. And what if i then demanded an apology? Can i expect to get just that, nothing, or in fact more insults? Think about that.

I HAFSY IN PARTICULAR POSTED THAT TOPIC. GURL U SHOULD HAVE CALLED NAMES(In ban karya wuyanki ba ::)). It is just the truth I had wanted to elucidate. I only tell DymeQueen and other kanoonliners what I tell my sisters and brothers. I love DymeQueen like I love any other kanoonliner. Maybe that is what informed my courage to spell-loud the alphabets.

Whether we like it or not DymeQueen is in courteous. Courtesy according Dr. Henry Clay Risner “is that quality of the heart that overlooks the broken gates and call attention to the flowers in the yard beyond the gate.”  And one of the dedications in my poetry reads as follows: For those friends, partners and relatives, THAT APPERICIATE one another’s VIRTUES, RESPECT opinions and OVERLOOK weaknesses; them I applaud as I celebrate one year older than my age. I am afraid, but this is what DymeQueen lacks in good measure.


Yes, you say that I should have sent her a private message instead. Agreed, I may be wrong here but it is not that I did not think it that way.  My conviction is DymeQueen does these things consciously because  Fyne speaks a lot about dissing ppl here

It is only natural. As informed by my experiences that: violent ppl do not understand any other language but violent language. Prophet of Islam too has done it this way several times and that is why even in Shari’a there is room for public lapidating. Add to that, when I am complimented in my observations Fyne will know that every body is watching. And ours is not a letter of hate as Fulanicious believe or Look-down as DymeQueen insinuated. No. but  a message full of love with an attempt to bend and rectify.

Yes, DymeQuene do not necessarily have to apologize. What is most important for her is to maintain some little caution at school, in office or above all in her matrimonial bliss. One must learn to control how he’s being seen by others. If she refuses then Allah knows we have done our best.

Having said all these I think it wouldn’t worsen situation if I say to all kanooliners: SORRY FOR TROUBLING YOUR CALM. I think Salisu can also lock-up this topic if he desires. But the truth remains: The beauty of life all lies in those shortcomings that are inherent in us. And it is because of these shortcomings that we can gather together “delighting”.  We may quarrel before we mend and repair. But the belief in some place called heaven wouldn’t have meant any joy without the thought that hell also EXISTS.

  The truth is, this place has become some circus since this speculations began, and its a preety bad circus. Dyme may be preety cold sometimes, but she has neva left track, and it confuses me to hear the accusations made by waz. We are all jumping up and down over nothing.I haven't come here to pick up sides, but to correct the mistakes I can see as well as possible. First I quote from dyme: and the lady says...

As u can all see, dyme meant no harm, though shez da funky type. Obviosly waz was insulted by her acts, she called him a "deluded character"...jokingly or not, thats fine, but thats completely different from "deluded lunatic". I mean the impact, everything is completely different.
   The truth is, dyme was cold at calling waz deluded, and Waz  was wrong at misquoting her. Thats what brought about the specualtions. And it leads to nothing.
      I respect Waz, alot. I mean he has been a real light here, a politician, and islamist, a poet and if I may say, one of the most intellectual peeps on k-online. I also respect Dyme, a great symbol for feminism, a proud muslim, black and lady. There is too much to admire from both of you, but we can neva get anywhere if we dont share it with each other. You see, right from the outset I made my points in regard to what MY EYES SAW for my self. And I believe many that have contributed to the AL' ADA KO ADDINI  including lionger and yourself did not contradict my submission in the beginning. The lady herself in her first series of replies did NOT contradict either. What ever it was that happened later I cannot discern now. What is most affirming is the fact  that majority submitted she could do it.I  also  note that it was after saying what I believed she said that she moved to a topic posted by Hafsat titled :Complaint of a member and said:

You see Ibro, all these are what made me conclude that every thing was intentional. With regard to Comical Ali, the point  is we don't say something or somebody is FUNNY just like that, espicially when we are discussing  something serious on the general  board, that may amount to ridicule in other way incourtesy according to the rules of ETIQUETTE. Where it on chit-chat then it is something different. Mark you, Ibro if ssome one will call me names on chit-chat I will not find it weird, because the direction of the discourse there is believed to be highly informal.

Ibro, it is very ignoble on my part to concoct just like that espicially when we take to consideration the kind of image you ve already formed of me. And of course it is not that I am hurt as I said earlier because my life has for long been that of  the public. I have been bashed several times by people to the point that some wished to take my life. I really do not think there is something new I  will see now or in the near future in terms of public hatred. But the essence of my submission was to attempt  to bend and rectify. It may be hard for her but sshe will certainly, most assuredly, find herself learning from it.

She wonders whether "in corteous" is one word. I don't think the lady the lady is a philologist or etymologist by training, I would certainly have asked her to  explain why the word "Well- being" is sometimes spelt  as "Well being". Or atleast ask her of the origins of words.
