Title: KANO WONDER
Post by: FAtima Batul on July 16, 2005, 04:53:56 PM

KANO WONDER

Drive through the hustle,
Walk through the bustle,
Flex all your muscle,
It all worth the tussle.

Mouth watering Lebanese kebab,
Sweet arabian halawa,
Spicy African suya,
Chilled fulani shobbal.

I went to Gidan Makama museum,
Then to Mallam Kato square,
The drive through city,
And the wonderful gates of history.

The market at Sabongari,
And the famous casino at Wapa,
The variety of super mansions,
And all the beautiful patios.

Mambaiya house a Legacy,
Bayero University a citadel,
The zoo I just remember,
I fed a monkey member.

From Dala Hills I view
Kano the city of culture.
Voted one of the rich few
Cultural wonders of the future!

Hey, Fatima, this is an excellent poem! It ought to be written up on a large plague and displayed at the Kano Tourist office! Well done!
