Can a husband and wife have sexual intercourse when the wife is on her periods?

All praises be to Allaah, Lord and Sustainer of the worlds, and may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and upon his family and companions.
Allaah Subhanahu-wa-Ta'alaa says:
"And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allaah has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allâh to bestow upon you pious offspring) for your ownselves beforehand. And fear Allâh, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give good tidings to the believers. Al-Baqarah. 2:222-223
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Cursed be the one who has intercourse with his wife in her back passage." Narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawood (2162).
The Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allah be upon Him) also said: "The one who has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or with a woman in her rectum, or who goes to a fortune-teller, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." (Reported by al-Tirmidhi)
So, it is permissible for the husband and wife to enjoy each other however they wish, except in two ways:
1. Intercourse during menstruation,
2. Anal intercourse.
Both of these are major sins.
And Allah the Most Knowledgeable knows what is best and most correct.
We ask Allaah to help and guide us to do all that He is pleased with and his Peace and blessings be upon His last Prophet Muhammad.
