The Kaduna State Police Command has again arrested a 65-year-old man and a teenager for allegedly having unlawful carnal knowledge of a nine-year-old and a two-year-old girl, respectively.
Parading the suspects, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the command, Mr. Adams Audu, said that the incidents took place separately on May 10, adding that following a tip-off, the two suspects were apprehended by policemen after they had committed the act.
Audu said that the alleged rapists, 65-year-old Isiaku Bonat, and 15-year-old Sunday Godwin lured the little girls with money into secluded places where they raped them.
According to the DCP, the suspects had already confessed during interrogation to raping the children.
"On 10th May, 2008, at about 1900hrs, information received from one Luke Gabriel of Down-Quarters, Kakuri area indicated that on the same day at about 1500hrs, while he was at work, his wife, one Mary Luke of the same address informed him through GSM that their two-year-old daughter by name Mercy Luke, was raped.
"On receipt of the report, police detectives from the area swung into action and arrested one Sunday Godwin, aged 15 year, of the same area. Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to have been familiar with the little girl by playing with her until the dastardly act was committed."

That had, just recently, been reported happening in Kano. But alhamdulillah, there is no such stories now. I always have my mind boggling when I remember one of these stories, i.e of Saunar-Kawaji baby girl. She was brutally raped and killed in the action. But the two merciless guys dumped her corpse a nearby bola (wasted things lot) and disappeared into thick air. But Allah's wish, they were later captured, nabbed and brought to law. At the first instance, they confessed evrything and pledged guilty. Amma da yake they are shameless, they later crafted anew story that they did say what they say under duress and bla bla... Wallahi even the mention of that locality's name still now left me flabbergasted. Amma as the romours has it, these two rapists are convicted and hunged later at one Kaduna appeal court.

well blieve it o that story is very true and worse things are happnin here, ppl still get away with rape and some just serve short terms, we really need heavy and harsher punishments. also alot of awareness for those ppl that blieve raping virgins cures then of HIV/AIDS

Haka ne, DB. I just remember of one story I read a Sunday Trust newspaper that one incestous father impregnated his 18-year-old daughter. Both from Ogun state, he said that his so-called god ordered him to do so. Though, he's reported with some psychiatric problem yet this is utterly nonsensical.

Anyone heard about what also happened in austria it also follows the same line, where a father who i believe had some serious issues cos abin nashi ya wuce gona da iri he impreganated his daughter who he had kept in the cellar of their home for i tink about 18 years if not more, he fathered 7kids from her and guess what..................................
.....................his eldest daughter/Grandaughter 19yrs ma bai kyaleta ba however i dont think she got preganant and its been said that she is to die soon cos of where he kept dem basically they havent been getting the normal nutritional needs the average human being gets and that they are unable to communicate they only had a tV ,they havent even outside that how terrible it was.

Hankalinsa sarai ameera! He was as sane as u and I. You know what? He planned the whole thing some years before he actually incarcerated the daughter. He got planning permission to extend a cellar in his house. Unbekownst to the authorities he added a whole house section so to speak, under the ground, toilet, kitchen sitting room, ke dai ba a cewa komai. I saw the plan of the cellar that he built. The door to it was electronically controlled from the outside of the cellar and it was made of steel, irin wanda bankuna ke sawa in their vaults where they keep all the customers' valuables. Kuma inda zakisan yana da hankalin sa, he kept up regular mails supposedly coming from the girl and he kept drumming it in ppl's ears, that she had joined a sect so that they would easily believe it or be desensitized aftter hearing it for quite some time. The only thing I keep wondering is how the wife could be unaware of what was happening all these years. I think she might have suspected something but went into denial.

A man in Maiduguri raped two of his daughters on
daily basis for a period of time. It was the girls
who decided to report the case to the police
station after listening to this BBC sponsored
program on HIV/AID "YAYA TAKE - HAKAN TAKE"
he was arrested and arraigned before a magistrate
court here in maiduguri.
The bad guy divorced his wife, mother to his two
daughters and have been living with them when he
decided to be raping them.
THe girsls confessed that he used to scare them with
knife each time he comes to their room.
The girls requested that they be screened for HIV/AIDS.
The screening exercise was conducted, and luckily the
girls are negative (for now).
They have been sent to their mothers village.
