Lionger,how will there be trouble?

EMTL,indeed everything is in the hands of God Almighty.

The nation seem to have a power vacuum which needs to be filled.
The kind of sickness yar'adua has is very serious and he need a lot of time attending to his health.
No doubt, yar'adua has the nation's interest at heart and so far he is not the type that sqaunders or stash away the nations wealth but the fact remains that he cannot rule the country if his health conditions continue to get worse.
I sincerely sympathise with him and his family and i pray Allah grant him good health.

And the fact that his wife hasn't come back yet is strong enough an evidence that 'ba hope'

Here is my prediction:
Goodluck till 2011
PDP nomination crisis in 2011
Serious disagreements in the ruling party
Buhari or Shekarau snatch the presidency.
;D

Today is 40 days.
Na wa for our country. What this country can withstand is beyond imagination.
One must salute the control exerted by the FEC and Yar'aduas cronies for had it been they relented in thier efforts,he would have left office a long time ago.
I would love to dine with the people working behind the scenes to ensure he remains in power. It is serious power play which i would love to have the expertise.
Dole a sara musu.
Allah ya bashi lafiya.

BKGZ why do you say they are toying the lives of millions.
It might be better off for Nigerians for Yar'adua to stay in power than for the heat that will come up when he is forcefully or tactically removed.
As Jonathan said in his Thanksgiving speech 'God wants to show the nation that He (God) is in charge.

And nace dole a sara musu ne cos in power your ability to have things done your own way successfully is a great acheivement and so far they have done just that. I would just love to know how its done.

Where is the President, any way? King Faisal Hospital officials in Saudi Arabia say he is not there. I wonder what sort of joke is this, wallahi. Don't you think he might be dead? :o

Allah ya sawwake.

Not that the present situation is ideal, for of course it is not.

BBC is reporting a potential constitutional crisis in Nigeria and reporting accustions that the President's signature has been forged on documents including the budget document.

Where is Yar'adua?

For all the atheists out there, Nigeria as a body with out a head is living proof of the existence of Allah SWT. Goodluck is right: God Is in Charge of Nigeria. Any other country would have descended into chaos and anarchy. Naija, u are UNIQUE

gogannaka what have you here? its like you are
shifting your grounds when i look at yours posts
from the beginning and its subsequent.

i wonder why some of friends here claims to tell the
whole world that all is well in nigeria even when the
president is not on seat and not attending to very
crucial issues of national importance.

this fuel crisis still looms large in our country with no
executive decision to take and we still claim all is
well.

who attends to ministerial correspondences? who gives
directives to the Secretary to the Federal Government,
who answers diplomatic phones from other presidents?
who signs our budget?

and we still claim all is well in this country?

DB ban gane ina shifting grounds ba,
I am just predicting the likely scenarios.

FYI i believe God is in control like Jonathan said.
It seems like the system put in place by Yar'adua (his kitchen cabinet) is effective.
And by the way, nothing will change if yar'adua comes back (Allah na tuba).
The masses will not see any change whether Yar'adua or Jonathan is president.
Those that care more who becomes president are the big boys/girls that directly benefit from thr office of Mr President, amma ministoci na nan suna bada kwangilaye abun su.

The fuel crisis is as a result of 3 things:
Tanker drivers strike
Lack of loans from banks
Fear over the PIB and deregulation.

Husnaa ai abun da aka tambaya kenan.
Allah ne mai raya wa kuma mai kashe wa.
There are rumours that he is getting better.
Abba Aji recently confirmed that only 2 people have access to him,his CSO and ADC.
Gaskiya idan haka ne to ba labari.
Ni na fi son ya farfado gaskiya.

Wani abu da Nasir el-rufai ya rubuta:

In 2001, the second year of his first term as Governor, Umaru's health began to deteriorate. His mentor, General Aliyu Mohammed arranged for him to go to Germany for a comprehensive medical check-up. In Germany, he was diagnosed with renal failure and he was prescribed medication to supplement regular dialysis. In all he spent nearly six months in Germany, and as required by the Constitution, handed over the governance of the State to his Deputy, Tukur Jikamshi. Before departing for Germany, a spiritualist from neighboring Niger Republic had met Yar'Adua and informed him that his illness will miraculously disappear within a year, if certain prayers and sacrifices of animals were made. His influential wife, Turai ensured that these were done.

When he returned, he found that as Acting Governor, Jikamshi had allegedly squandered the state's resources and embarked on several projects that the Governor was unhappy about. Umaru got his deputy impeached by the State Legislature within months of his return. Jikamshi decamped to the rival ANPP in protest (but is now back in the PDP). Umaru continued to undergo dialysis until his kidney functions miraculously improved. When he returned to Germany for another check-up in 2002, his kidney functions were found to have fully recovered, and a proposed transplant was unnecessary. Yar'Adua's belief in his spiritualist from Niger Republic strengthened with this outcome.
