Watched the tail end (last 10 mins) of An African journey. The New kings of Nigeria, in my view, is one of those abstract pieces that not many of us (Africans) will really appreciate, as I failed to get the full picture. Following a diasporan on his journey back home is not my cup of tea any day, and I believe also, not for many Nigerians at the minute.

Both programmes were quite enjoyable but rather superficial.
They showed just how easily well-meaning Western journalists can be hoodwinked.

The prevailing view in the West is that Lagos is Nigeria. This is not the case at all.
