Islam / Value of a Woman in Islam
« on: March 05, 2008, 03:55:04 PM »
This couldn't be said more beautifully..
Be careful if you make a woman cry,
because Allah counts her tears.
A woman came out of a man's rib.
Not from his feet to be walked on,
not from his head to be superior over,
but from his side to be equal.
Under the arm to be protected and next
to the Heart to be loved.

Well i recieved this in a text format but thought
of sharing it with you Ladiez and Gents.

Islam / Count Allah's (SWT) Blessings
« on: August 29, 2007, 02:31:00 PM »
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep...
.... you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in dish someplace.....
.... you are among the top 8% of the world wealthy.

If you woke up this morning with more haelth than illness.....
.... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or pangs of starvation....
.... you are blessed than millions of people in the world.

If you can pray in a mosque without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death....
....you are more blessed than millions of the people in the world who cant.

If your parents are still alive and still married....
   .... you are very rare.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful....
.... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you can read this message, you kust recieved a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you and furthermore...
.... you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read this at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings to thank Allah (SWT) and pass this along to remind everyone.

A beautiful piece that i read from a book by Mufti Saiful Islam.

General Board / Who is the right leader................
« on: February 03, 2007, 11:25:40 PM »
Salams....
As we can see and hear elections are coming up, many campaigns going on, candidates all trying to get the most votes to claim the presidency chair.

Nigeria needs an upright leader that can set her straight from the cripple path she's moving on, make her nigeria not the 419er and i mean no dodgy businesses, but the question is "WHO" is going to be the One for this job?

Ma fellow onliners who do you think is able to do this job and Why? and what they ought to consider in doing for the country, cos i can think of many must do's but would like my fellow Onliners to chip in.

Firstly: i know that nigerians want security cos the amount of insecurity that is going on i dont even want to get in to that.

Second: better police force, as i have mentioned many times in some of ma posts.

Third: better roads that can ensure safer travelling between states and within state.

Fourth: equipping hospitals with medical equipment, hygeine etc.

Fifth: Education better goverment schools as not all nigerians are able to pay for their children to go to private schools, they should also have an oppotunity to a good eduaction.

Sixth: These two that am about to mention need to be wiped out to cure peoples greed "Bribery and Corruption".

Seventh: NEPA this electrical thing soooooooooo needs to be sorted out.

naija can be a better place for all!!!

General Board / NIGERIA, NIGERIA WHY!!!
« on: September 09, 2006, 03:46:57 PM »
Firstly this country has sooooo many issues that need sorting out, i could probabaly make a book about it starting from the small things to the big ones. Theses are just a few things that i have thought about and would like to share with you's.

There is no way nigeria can move on with out having the right leaders, there needs to be strict laws placed down on the country and its people. Example somone made a post about the police how they are not cracking down on arm robbers but why?????and not only that bribery that is taking place there is not a day that passes without a police man somewhere in naija asking for money.

Secondly i dont understand why, if someone is arrested and has the money to be bailed out they are set free, and as for the poor man he stays in there til allah yayi mashi nufin fitowa, because obviously where is he going to get the money from. This shows segregation between the rich man and the poor its like theres one rule for the rich and one for the poor and it shouldn't be like this, now somone tell me is this right truthfully? both the rich n the poor are entitled to equal rights not one being above the other. This is another issue that need to be looked into.

Thirdly, why on earth are some people making fake medicines i mean wat is the point and wat do you get out of making fake drugs its not like your helping anyone its more like your killing people.

to my conclusions i can see that from my first point, second and lastly third its all about  MONEY :x it seems like people dont care where they get the ca$h from and if there is a way that they can make the money....................... they WILL and not even that they choose to get money in the wrong way.

so wat do u onliners think?????????????
