chit-chat / Re: Make Me Laugh!

American tourists driving down from Jos to Kano stop at Tudun Wada Dankadai.
Trader sees them coming but has nothing much to sell so he grabs a pile of goat's shit and speads it out over the table.
American tourist approaches and asks "Gee, what are these?"
"These are special learning tablets" replies the trader "made from a ancient remedy and dried in the wholesome rays of the sun."
" Gee, how much are they?" asks the American
" 35 Naira each" replies the trader
" I'll try one" says the American, handing over a bundle of Naira and popping a "tablet" in his mouth.
" Ugh" he exclaims, spitting it out again "That tasted like goat shit!"
" See" says the trader " You're learning already!"
;D ;D :Dlol.... its very funny and creative shows da impractical perception of americans.

For sure IBB where exactly is sin city?
As for me insha allah this coming weekend i intend to do some shopping, visiting friends, and also spending some quality time with my family.

Sin City is just a saying. lol. It was my friend's birthday so we travel out of town to spend it for 2nites. I thot I was gonna commit some sin in the trip. Lucky 4 me I got no show. LOL

Just curious, cause the only city i know that has the label Sin City is Las Vegas, Nevada (U.S).
ow o, i think some cities has risen to the stage sincity.cties lyk rio de janeiro where carnivals in which people strip naked takes place.

chit-chat / watz all these nitpick on hausa girlz
« on: August 11, 2007, 04:08:38 AM »

hausa men nowadays complain much about their female couterparts.
they complain about behavior like lack of comittment, high level of materialism, deception, carefree attitude and so many more.
people are also connectin this attitude to the rampant failure of marriages nowadays and the increasin number of barchelors dat are
afraid of indulgin demselvs in a potential failure.
some fellows even tagged hausa girlz as long term investment(u hav to suffer a lot before gettin attention).some men recently prefer going out wit a girl from another tribe in order to dodge those nitpicks.i srongly go against dat cos i'm a conservative person(i enjoy gargajiya a lot),i think runnin away from the trouble isn't gonna solve any of the problems.but...
is it possible to have a hitch free relationship wit a hausa girl which can lead to a successful marriage?

note:i'm neither a male chauvinist nor a feminist,it just so discomfortin to be hearin those niptiks on our fellow female counterparts, besides they are our mothers.i hope the girlz in particular will give some remedies to this situation.

Madalla for that bayani.

P.s i dint see anything i think i was just being parnoid bt thanks for the tip :)

wo wo wo, amira, its o.k. to b scared,if not for the protection allah(swt) has given us and the faith we have,u may probably
run mad.
i'm sayin this cos i've been subjected to same situation.i was sleepin on my bed when i heard someone speakin french beside my me,from my frightened translation i assumed dat the jin told her pals to leave this guy for now, igot stunned & couldn't move for some minutes,i just kept prayin and wished our ladan will call for subhi prayer early.
i think the jinn enjoys frightenin humans, therefore gettin afraid them only makes them wanna scare you more until u get mad.just stick to
the protective stuffs given to us by the prophet(saw).

chit-chat / Re: Forum Avatars

hmmm, avatar readin, dats interestin,it sounds lyk fun to me.
if its o.k. i'll also lyk to do some avatar readin too.
gogannaka's avatar depicts a sarcastic(fun lovin) person in my mind, his posts also strengthens dat depiction.
dan-borno's avatar potrays "tada kura zunguri kurya",a dan-kauye type of person who likes being significant and wheneva he did't get one,he displays his kauyanci.his posts also strengthens this statement.
adios amigos.

General Board / Re: can manyan mutane buy their way into sarauta?????
« on: August 05, 2007, 04:48:53 AM »
hola amira,it could have been more precise to ask "how frequent does manyan mutane buy their way into sarauta?",this epidemic started its sporadic spread since the day traditional rulers lost thier powers to democracy.the emir has to lure the capitalist and xtremely rich people, which are the so called "manyan mutane" in order to satisfy his own policies.
anyway i dont blame the emirs, they were stripped of thier powers and set to work under thier servants,it takes a man wit good faith to take his eyes off the cash.i hope i have answered ur question.adios amiga

P.S. i'll lyk to commend on the way u've been keepin the lively,i've been AWOL for lyk two yrs,i never thot i'll fyn it as interestin as when ummita,ibro2g and the rest are active,i guess i'm wrong,u guyz are doing hell of a job here.
