General Board / Re: ATM ?
« on: November 04, 2013, 04:24:26 PM »

Hmmn, pls note that, this removal will encourage you to use other banks ATM more than usual, and so the percentage of dispense errors will increase. Therefore, making it difficult for you to get your money back.

My advice; Stick with your bank whenever you can for quicker resolution of complains.

There was none, actually; hence my surprise at how GGNK noticed that in the first place. This means some members still care to visit not only here but the other sister site as well. Yet the site remains marooned. Allah ya qyara.

LMAO.Kaine marooned din never "EVER" cease to amuse me. I missed you man.

General Board / Re: Bomblasts in Kano and not an utter on Kanoonline
« on: February 29, 2012, 10:41:35 AM »

Wow! I was also wondering the same thing though i wasnt opportuned to come online over the past few weeks. its really depressing the state of limbo in which the site has gone into, but this is just natural as many of us did predict that it will happen, partly due to development of other websites and partly due to the Nigerian underdeveloped condition, i mean only a microscopic few among the large populace are opportuned to have a stadious internet system and resources for a very long time, even though with the emergence of internet on mobile phones and other smart devices, its still not cutting it. Majority of the people have lost interest in the site. Allah ya kyauta.

So i guess people prefer the constant destruction and chaos caused by BH in the name of islamizin the country than co-operating with the government in fishin out the agents of destruction in our midst? There is no justification whatsoever in the war BokoHaram is waging against the government and the innocent people of Nigeria. Well we all say islam is a religion of peace, can we all come out and condemn the atrocities of BH rather than trying to justify and appreciate BH and giving what i will call "silly" reason why people are not co-operating with the government.

Mind you if we dont come openly against BH atrocities be rest assured it is the Northern region that will suffer d most. In a region already with chronic unemployment, illiteracy over d roof, high maternity rate, etc, activities of BH will drive out potential investment, businesses etc.forcing the region to go into comma, eventually becoming like Somalia (may Allah not allow that).

On the issue at hand, kindly take a seat, keep an open mind and read up the thread again. I don’t think even if you walk the streets anywhere in the North in disguise you will ever hear any group of people conversing that they are in support of the BK activities more especially in a site like this, where the sole objective is for the intellectual minds to come together and proffer possible solutions for resolving these forsaken activities.
@Others. My only concerns are these, I am not in support of the BK activity whatsoever, but if really BK are fighting the modern day education system like they are called, why are they bombarding police stations and not schools and universities? Why are they killing both Muslims and Northerners alike? Why are they not in the southern part of Nigeria? Why are they still invisible despite the security measures? Why, despite the heavy military check points, bombs are still detonating within the inner walls of Kano? We really need to read between the lines here.

@GGNK. Dude, lol i dont even know where to start, you got me laughing so hard, my ribs began to ache.
you actually made me realised how boring and archaic the news casting programs is. With the way NIgeria is fast developing, i was thinking by now we would have already developed wildly media wise, i mean sophistication in computer graphics for the programs, world class studios for casting the news, wall screens and so on, i mean we have this money that we are stealing everyday which never finishes, the only thing i can commend them is their fashion sense, dem dey try for that one, correct dressing and style, but the rest is actually zero since they still do unnecessary mistakes when reading, blunders, stare consistently in the  papers they are holding and have technical audio out issues har yau. so sad.

Probably this year, if we plan ahead we might be successful you know! Even if we don't do much, if we can be doing the get together once a year like the last one (am still salivating from the Kafar Saniya) it would be memorable, this is our dear Kanoonline, common people what do you think?

Muhsin, thank you for this comment, that Hurt Locker is a total waste of time, very boring, it took me 4 days to finish it, and I was only forced to watch it to see what was in it that it beat the Avatar at the 2010 Academy Awards.

I have seen a lot of movies these days, Takers, very beautiful movie, Salt, nice but exaggerative, no woman is that good ever, I have gotten Inception, will watch it soon, I have loads of movies, all of them clear original versions, I don't even know how to start watching them, @Ummumtameem. I have got me a new external Drive lol.

This 2011, will be explosive in movies I tell you, I call it the year of the comics, so many comic movies in production and awaiting realease, Batman 4, Transformers 3, Superman 2, Thor, Captain America, Green Lantern, Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol, can wait for them!

What is the future of this site and the vis-a-vis programe? Last year the program was not carried out due to excuses by some members, this year everybody is silent? Does that mean this is the end of the programme? Is there a way forward? What about all the promises we made the 2 years ago? Are we going to let this happen to Kanoonline? This is the only reasonable online community for the north on the verge of extinction, let's do something, December is here!

With all that has happened in the nigerian politics from indipendence till date, nothing on earth will make me vote for IBB, am sorry to say but What is wrong with Nigerians? Can't we open our eyes to choose new breed leaders whom we know will make a positive difference in this country? Have we ran out of options? Of all people in this nation Why IBB? IBB is a joke, and I see it that if Nigerians are wise nobody will vote for him, I rather vote for Buhari for he has a clean records which is reason enough, but people are trying to vote for IBB just because "yana burge su"? How ridiculous! So much bad attitudes and negative characters in Nigeria today are routed to him via history, isn that enough reason not to consider the bad egg? What makes you think he has changed and will do better? For the love of this country, I feel if vote for someone whom records show malachievments for the state, then I will be held responsible as well in the day of Qiyama. I don't loath him, he is human as well, but I'm not Vooting him, even if he is the last choice, IBB is not the salvation to Nigerian problems. [/colo]
