Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and please let it be known that Husnaa calling Ete a zombie on another thread; is surely not acceptable now. As for letting sleeping dogs lie, I rather not allow any dog into KanoOnline Forum let alone letting it lie. As a matter of fact, I am considering a Board or at least a Thread where personal abuses such as these will be reported thereby allowing us to take proper and prompt action as soon as our Forum rules are broken.

Good Grief! So Zombie is an insulting word? I had no idea. I used the term in the sense of one being under someone's hypnotizing influence with no thought processes of one's own.. rather than the dead walking ghoul usually associated with the physical appearance of the zombie.

In as much as I resent Ete's confrontational attitude on this board, I am trying to dignify my interactions with him by not having a mudslinging match with him. I think that is a way to project a mature and responsible attitude. Obviously there are other ways of doing so, as Waziri has pointed out with respect to Alkanawi and Ete's running feud, and yes, maybe Alkanawi can handle Ete better than anyone of us can, infact in terms of a razor sharp wit, I am compelled to admire Alkanawi's approach, and I found it extremely entertaining reading the exchanges between these two gentlemen. However, that is not my way, and I feel as a woman, I cant allow a stranger to insult me over the net. It is totally degrading, that is why I would rather use kid gloves (Handle With Care) where Ete is concerned. So my apologies to Ete if he feels insulted, cos I am certainly not out here looking to trade insults with anyone.

Husnaa, I don't know much has happened as wonderfully as that as we got a very brave member that can deal appropriately with 'those' members like .... ???. Alkanawi really sound great and wonderfull. Keep it up. We are beside you, supporting you to........LOL ;D

I would like to seek your opinion on how you think the census figures could be manipulated.I bet the NPC is filled up with Kano people.
I think someone once posted that the first population survey/census done by Britain before independence was actually tampered with in favour of the north.Now that the census has been conducted under the leadership of a non northerner,some people, out of jealousy or superiority complex  :P still cannot believe.
I remember Tanko Yakasai's response to a southern(Yoruba) brother regarding the northern population being more than the south.He pointed out that he(Yakasai) is from a polygamous family and practises polygamy whereas his southern brother is from a monogamous family and practices monogamy.The answer was a kind of 'debate answer' where you try to shut the mouth of the co-debator.
So far,prior to the release of the census results,i have not come across any report that expressed disapproval over the manner and genuity of the census exercise.This was an exercise where the returning officers posted to north came from the south and vice versa,an exercise funded and supervised by the EU and united nations development programme.I remember vividly the one week program aired on freedom radio(kano) where they called live some of the returning officers all over the contry to get a first hand information on the conduct of the exercise,their response was that the exercise was accurate.
Why is it that Nigerians always have a culture of not believing in any major exercise carried out by Nigerians?Maybe we should invite the united nations or the united states to come and line us up together and take a head count.Or maybe they should smoke us out from our houses and while we are out quickly snap us with their satellites up in the sky or google earth(where's middlesbelt sef?)

Anyways,whether they believe or not the government has no option but to agree with the figures.Let them wait another ten years for another census.Let the lagosians continue to have the superior complex that they produce waste worth 10000 tonnes(ba dole ba masu kashi a leda cos ba ban daki).

GGNK, history has said it, when you talk of illiteracy, the norther is being seen as topping chart, but Wallahi Tallahi, illiteracy is seriously misunderstood by the west, du su suka bata abin.  Since time immemorial our people can 100% read and write, just take a look at the works of the like of Shehu Usman Dan Fodio, how could you assert that such a people are illiterate.  That is what they want to portray us.

Infact there is a survey (I cant remember the source, i think it was conducted by NTA) that the level of awareness compared between the north and south is uncomparable, because an average norther must listen to the news thrice in every 24 hours.

While the southerner laugh at us because we use to hold a mobile radio all the time, the benefits we drive from listening to the radio are enormous:-

During elections, our people get aware easily through the radio, that is why we beat them.
During census, the same thing

Just think of any other national issue, before 10 southerners will hear, 100 notherners have already transmitted the information into their houses.

So, GGNK, let them continue assuming the inferiority, while gradually we beat them hands-down.

Information is power, we get informed and hold the power!!!!!

Admin, thanks for finally calling certain people to order. I was beginning to think this was biased forum. In respect to thos who wish to handle Ete with kids gloves, I'll do the same to them. I want to make it categoricall clear however that I have no problem at all taking on anyone or a bunch of folks when the lines are drawn. So to those 'mature' women doing strangers a favor by using kids glove approach as they call it, please don't get of yourselves.  :D
