MORAL DEGREDATION IN KANO STATE AND GOVERNOR SHEKARAU"S ADMINMISTERATION!!

Right from the onset and the inception of the executive governor of kano state into office  on the 29th may 2003, the  humble, Godfearing mallam who was a novice in the political arena pledged to rule and govern the ancient and religiously oriented city of  kano state by the Islamic injunction that is popularly known as the Sharia system of govermence.
The ball was set rolling in the socio-political/religious arena of the state governance.Impressive programmes such as the marvelous and much accredited and commended A DAIDAITA SAHU was introduced into the mainstream of mallam shekarau's much effective human oriented programmes.
The programme with its sparkling and intelligent ideas dazzled supporters and critics alike. It is what my natives say "SAN KOWA KIN WANDA YA RASA''.It was an enviable set of human development programmes that had various branches ranging from poetic and very friendly manner of impacting religious messages to the masses, okada riders code of conduct,pre-election enlightment messages were fetted out into the conscious and subconscious levels of human understanding through the famous and revered radio station of the FREEDOM RADIO station.
The tricycles, the buses, the pension spree, the Ramadan food package, the teachers welfare scheme..e.t.c were all determinant factors in propelling and accelerating the upliftment of the A DAIADITA SAHU board into a commission.Kudos to the executive governor! Two thumbs up for a gentleman!!, Sharia implementation in kano state did receive a boost!!1
Unfortunately, the crack in the hole came in through the once innocent, decent and hausa-culture like FILM INDUSTRY.
In the lofty name of "FADAKARWA" {ENLIGHTMENT} or rather passing forth a message, negative and wayward subliminal messages are passed into the peoples subconscious minds, near Nude ladies dance Seductively on the screens of our local hausa home videos, thereby inciting the male viewer either consciously or subconsciously, acts of violence, cruelty hate and deception are being portrayed in the lofty name of fadakarwa which in turn instead of enlightening to avoid end up encouraging to try jn a more wiser manner, and Alas!! I do believe that islamically, Nudity wether on T.V or in real life is still nudity no matter the camouflage.
So, instead of teaching to avoid, the mass media subconsciously teaches to try.Sometimes I wonder what has happened to the once prestigious films censor board?
If there is the fear of God and justice in the name of SHARIA then every hausa film is supposed to be censored by the Ulamas or rather the Imams of the Sharia!!

Even if it means enacting a mobile sharia court on the street corners in kano your excellency, it will be useless as long as there will continue to be moral decay in the polity shrouded in the name of entertainment.Teenage girls learn tricks and lure men at a very tender age, learn to outsmart their parents for appointments with the peers, the parents are partly responsible for the moral decay of their wards but I feel the IMAM OF A DAIDAITA SAHU is in a better position to act, having the power at his beck and call, and using Allahs name for his campaign slogans.
Lavishing state actors guild,  with buses gifts and the likes. Turning a deaf ear to the misbehaviours of the hausa film industry is a clear indication of  the governors fear to curtail this unethical and unislamic menace of moral degeneration going on right under his nose, because of the sentimental nature of kano natives and mallams fear of  touching the film industry at a crucial time when he was desperate to clinch the seat of power for a second time, and for fear of kanonians siding with what they believe is right and denying mallam their sympathy and votes, mallam turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to what was happening in the hausa film industry and all hell broke loose.

And what we see today is outright moral degeneration which is visible in our youths that range from clothe styles to skin bleaching to look like a star and the same or similar applies to the men.
When Allahu Akbar{God is great } is shouted at the podium or campaign grounds, then such a menace of moral decay and degeneration should not be left untethered.
