sweeping of the floor
running of the tap
falling of the rain
blinking of the eye

suddenly!

an accident of the tongue
colliding of the teeth
withdrawal of the yawn
hunger of emotion
slumber of the heart
poverty of glance
dancing of the mind
wakes the stubbornnes of the broom

oh!

the patience of the pocket
irresponsibility of the dream
youthfulnes of the pen
maturity of the poem
halts the laughter of the cloud

yet!

the marriage of the book
divorce of the pen
honesty of the library
morality of endurance
will ornament the future of the puppy
and surprise the impatience of the cat
