i was bored on internet so i decide to check out sumtin bout my country i went to lonelyplanet.com/nigeria then from there i was playin around lookin for sumtin that has to do with my lang and i end up in Kanoonline ;D

I got to know this site through www.cybereagles.com , a nigerian website for football-freaks. I'm one of their members too, being a "football-fanatic".

I think, I'm the first foreigner in this forum or at least one of few. Maybe I should put foreigner into "", because I'm living with you people up North for 27 years, with some interuptions.

Though, I have been following your site since January 03, this is my first contribution.

My comments: I'm not yet too familiar with the site, but since I'm a member now, I hope that will change. I can see very vivid discussions here. 8) However, one thing strikes me: In cybereagles you have 95 % southerners in kano online 95 % northerners. You young Nigerians, you really have to work on that. The old generation was not able to produce a "One Nigeria", but I feel, you, the young ones, should be able to exactly do that, or do we still have to wait for the next generation? :-/

Its one of the good Hausa sites (sometimes outdated) but anyway its nice and ya'll should take a look at it.

With only 15 years in Kano to your 27 years I am junior bature only but I have enjoyed Kano Online since I found it six weeks ago. So much so I have decided I must return to Kano for a visit next year.

I found out about this place thru the cyber eagles site also. I was not a member but I regularly visited to keep myself updated and amused. They did not exactly give this forum rave reviews, but I joined cuz it was a place where I could talk to young northerners, who seem to be missing from almost every other Nigerian cyber community.

bature don't mind Ibro2g, he and many others here are ManU and Beckham freaks but they don't to give a hoot about the Super Eagles   ::) ;D

'Yallabai Salisu Danyaro, you were very kind to have sent me an e-mail introducing the kanoonline web site, that was how i got know this beautiful site.

Much later, a friend/colleque (Zarumi) drew my attention to the discussion forum and since then i hardly log onto the internet without visiting this web site. Well done for the excellent job. I only hope i will be oppurtuned to come and withness this Saturday's program.
