Truly amazing!! I was gasping towards the end!! It seems to debunk everything these biologists told us at sch..  the supremacy of the cat along the food chain and all that.... well they still are but those buffalos made them look puny!! Most incredible... the baby calf still alive after all that ordeal. Good thing the lions won over the croc otherwise the drama wouldnt have happened.

Yes he did. Watch the video again, you will see it rising up and being engulfed by the buffalo mass, a form of protection, I guess. But wow! that the lionesses didnt kill it  instantly is truly remarkable. They were like trying to suffocate the calf to begin with but they didnt sink a single canine into its jugular. It is probably because it was so young they could overpower and kill it withouth the need to punture the neck.  I suppose they could have succeeded in suffocating it if that crocodile hadnt come on the scene and it became a tug of war between them and the croc. But when they had finally pulled the calf from the jaws of the croc and onto dry land, they all congregated round its inert form and u would think looking at the scene that they'd already started feasting on the poor calf, tearing at its skin and all that. But likely they were licking it and it was probably playing dead, who knows? It certainly didnt appear to move at all until the buffalos moved it and one brave and reckless bull or cow summersaulted a lioness in the air, then the rest took courage and bore down on the pride and scattered some of them. That was when the calf shakily stood up and it  made its way towards the crowd and there was nothing the lionesses could do but watch and fear for their own safety.
It is certainly a scene worth its pixels in gold!

I just re watched it, Truly incredible, That proved God can save who ever he wish to save, no matter what.
It also proved a hausa proverb which says, ko anna muzuru, anna shaho, dan tsakon dazaiga badi sai yagani......AMAZING!
