it all started like a rumour, that shinkafi, the executive
governor of zamfara state is decamping to the most
powerful party in africa pee dee pee.  its over now, he
has finally put this rumours to rest as the president of
the federal republic of nigeria baba go-slow officially
attended the ceremony of his decamping to the national
party.

now, the party is less by one executive governor and
by implication reduces the power of funding the party
especially as the challenges of 2011 is seemingly becoming
tough and tougher.

rumours is still circulating within top politicians that more
anpp governors are decamping to the pee dee pee soon,
how true this will become, only time will tell, but i have
confidence in SAS because he has nothing to fear unlike
his fellow governors who feared that their ambition in
2011 is very blink if they did not decamp.

now, buhari is refusing to decamp to the labour party
which is supposed to be partyn talakawa, he is insisting
that no matter the situation, he is staying in anpp.  there
is every possibility that if anpp can produce a credible and
all acceptable candidate in 2011 (which we must present
b 4 2010)
it will technically defeat baba-go-slow in
election.  so guys, help us advocate the retirement of
general muhammadu buhari from politics patapata, saboda
so long he is in the party, more governor's will be decamping
to the pee dee pee leaving anpp with no financial support
to challenge pee dee pee in 2011.

from the information gathered, shekarau is not likely to win
any senatorial election in kano under anpp, but the kano people
which is the strong hold of the north with its millions of population
is very likely to support him if he is going for the presidency.

anyways - guys what are your opinions regarding the future
of anpp - party talakawan nigeria?

DB i bet you Shekarau can win any senatorial seat he contests.
ANPP is virtually a dead party. They are a very weak opposition and it seems that they are now afraid of PDP. The crisis in ANPP can actually be attributed to Buhari. He caused many divisions in an already shaky party. Again it can be said that Buhari is the person holding the ANPP together because in the long run he is likely the only candidate that can defeat the PDP nominee in the presidential elections. So a takaiche Buhari ya zame wa ANPP kadangaren bakin tulu.

The Zamfara governor decamped to the PDP to have a greater influence in the national stake than Yariman Bakura, who Yar'adua as is said, is holdIng in high esteem.

Shekarau can actually run for the presidency come 2011. And don't be surprised if he beats 'baba go slow'

DB, let me tell you that general Buhari is not the reason why Shinkafi decamped to PDP. I have first hand information and I mean first hand that he did it at the instigation of some powerful friends not necessarily in politics and if u want to know why it is to undermine what influence Yeriman Bakori might have as a de facto member of PDP. Its a one up manship on Yerima, who seems to want to eat his cake and have it too.
