At last the ANPP Chairman, Ume-Ezeoke was quoted to have distanced himself from the purported endorsement of Shekarau for the party's presidential ticket. He said he was only misquoted and admitted that he had no right under constitution to endorse anybody.
I think this will put to rest the issue of endorsing Mallam Shekarau by the party though the chairman is not truthful enough to be taken by his words.

malam yakubu, this is just the beginning, that is how politics
is played in nigeria rumours-reality. the party chairman is not
speaking on his own but for and on behalf of all the anppians,
already buhari knows his faith, and for him to decamp to another
party means total failure, for him to stay in the party means
he will be neglected - its time for a voluntary retirement.
