Salam

The news is finally in. Audu Ogbeh will be leaving the chairmanship of the PDP. He has tendered his resignation to OBJ effective Feb 28th. Astute observers have told anyone who cared to listen that Ogbeh's days as chairman of the monstrosity called PDP are numbered. Alas, it has come and pass.

What isn't clear is whether he is forced to resign- which will vindicate many people who thought Obasanjo was a brute; or he resigned on his own accord, which will contradict everything Ogbeh's been saying since the scandal broke out.

For many democrats in Nigeria, the crises brewing in the PDP confirms what they already know. That is, PDP is a motley crew of very unprincipled and ideologically banckrupt people worshiping money and hell bent on destroying whom so ever dared to challenge their antics. Just ask Awoniyi, Bamanga Tukur or Gemade.

Question is, do you think Ogbeh was kicked out- in which case we should mourn for OBJ's assault on an honest leader;  or was his resignation genuine- in which case we should we cheer because hope is not lost for there are still those in Nigeria who don't condone or aid and abet illegalities?

Peace!

Somebody was telling this morning that Ogbeh is denying the resignation story, how true?
