Interesting discussion. I've especially enjoyed sherrif's creative contributions.

Clearly the Nigerian polity is not mature enough to enjoy the benefits of the immunity clause as it presently stands. While I am strongly tempted to throw away the baby with the bath water, it will obviously lead to political chaos and near-stall of the executive branch. Gogannaka's submission makes sense here. The success of these schemes, of course, lies in the strength and impartiality of Nigeria's judiciary.
