Question:
What is the legal ruling on the teachers receiving salaries for teaching the Holy Qur'an?
  Answer :

Praise be to Allah Alone, and prayers and peace be upon the last Prophet Muhammad.

It is permissible for teachers to take salaries for teaching the Holy Qur'an, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The most deserving (job) for receiving fees is (teaching) the Holy Qur'an." Reported by Al-Bukhari (5737) in the chapter on Medicine

May Allah grant us prosperity. Peace and prayers be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and companions.
