I'd suggest u visit estate agents in Kano. And if you dont know any am pretty much sure you can find a list of estate agents in Kano on d web.

Mind u make surel u shud specify how MODERN u want d house bcus with Kano ppl dey can go ova modern meanin dey r tooooooooo decoratative. Dont b suprise 2 c a golden painted coloured house with orange coloured gates as tall as prison walls(she laffs). I think it will b betta 4 u 2 tell dem dat ur idea of an elegant house is something simple, elegant, unique & easy 2 commute b/4 dey provide u wit 20 stair cases b/4 reaching where d bedrooms r situated.

Ok on a NOT jokin level, I think kano hav nice modern houses, which will suit ur taste. However, u shud seek assistance of specialist Conveyancers who will help conduct searches, Land registry,inverstigatin title 2 an absolute freehold property or leashold etc..........& all dat is needed 4 a  property 2 b conveyed.
