Heart broken and distressed, with the affliction that had befallen our planet the vicissitudes that frequent my country, the earth is hell. 'If it rains' I'll find solace.

If it ever rains
I'll climb up top hills
      And found a New World
I'll grow wide wings
     And ascend to climax

I'll fly the scanty winds
     And transcend to heaven
There I'll live the skies
     And make the clouds my dwelling

I'll be your friend
     And make myself your hostess
I'll shed your tears
     And stay all while your shelter

And light your ways to brightness
I'll transform your world
     And your abode a place of purity
