PROPHET’S LAST SERMON


1. “O people, lend me an ATTENTIVE ear for I know not whether after this year, I  Shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I say Very carefully  And take these words to those who could not be present here Today …

2. O people, just as you regard this month, this day and this city Sacred so regard  The life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners.

3. Hurt no one so that no one hurts you. Remember that you will Indeed meet  Your LORD (ALLAH) and that he will indeed reckon your deeds.

4. ALLAH has forbidden you, to take usury (interest) therefore all Interest  Obligation shall henceforth be waived.
5. Beware of shaitan, for the safety of your religion. He has
Lost all hope that he  Will ever be able to lead you ASTRAY in the big things, so Beware of following him in the small things you do.

6. “O people, it is true that you have certain rights with regards to your women but  They also have rights over you. If they abide by your rights then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness do treat Your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it  Is your right that they do not make friends with anyone of Whom you do not  Approve, as well as never commit adultery.

7. O people, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your
Five daily prayers  (Salat) and fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your Wealth in zakat.  Perform hajj if you can afford to.

8. You know that every Muslim is brother of another Muslim. You >are all equal .

9. Nobody has the superiority over other except by piety and good Action.

10. Remember that one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer For your  Deeds do not store from the part of righteousness after I am Gone.

11. O people, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no faith Will be born.

12. Reason well, therefore. O people and understand my words Which I convey to  You. You will never go astray.

13. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and to others again , > And may the last ones understand my words better than those Who listen to me
Directly.

14. I leave behind my two things, the Quran and the hadith (my Example) the  Sunnah, if you follow them you will never go astray.

15. Be my witness O ALLAH that I have conveyed your message to your People. >

That is an excellent post, buzuzu. I only hope that we moslems will appreciete our Prophet's efforts in uniting us, and to love one another dearly and sincerely. Unless we do that, i believe, we will continue to wallow in wilderness. May ALLAH (SWT) in his infinite mercy bless and guide all moslems, AMEN.
