THE CONCLUSION
A community is a group of people living together as a body.

When two or more people are attracted together for a common goal in life, they become a community.

RELATIONSHIP VERSUS INTERACTION
When any two people have anything to do together, it is interaction regardless of the basis and the goal of the activities. Therefore, any exchange, contribution or cooperation and any distribution that involves two or more human beings is interaction. It is a general term for mutual activities.

Relationship is a form of interaction but it is specifically the interaction that is based on love. Human beings interact on the basis of either need or love. Relationship is the one based on love.

Love, unlike need, creates a sense of attachment or belonging.

LOVE AND ATTACHMENT
Love is the conscious force of attraction that binds two or more creatures together. The creatures in love are attached together.

The people in love act together as if they are a body.

The cause of love is mutual understanding and some physical attractions though we are more concerned here with intimate love which is related more to understanding.

Marriage is extension of this mutual relationship into sexual activities and possibly bearing of children.

FAMILY
A family is the smallest form of a community whereby two married people coexist as if they are one.

Children are often born into families and so we begin to have womb relationship.

LEADERSHIP
Whenever two or more people have to do anything together, there has to be a leader to serve as the control and coordinator of the activities.

Leadership is still that control in machine except that it involves free will.

In any community, the leadership is born along with the community and it is the symbol of love and the relationship. So, every community is instituted with its leadership regardless of whether this is specified or not.  Problem normally arises when there is the effort to change the status quo.

TRADITION VERSUS VIGILANCE
Human beings are dynamic creatures that are always evolving both in awareness and in population.

Every community tries to keep the status quo by preserving its culture (the beliefs and habits) and by indoctrinating the coming generations.

Traditions are taught to the coming generation through gradual process. A person has to be awake to correct and avoid this indoctrination.

In contrast to the traditional setting is vigilance.

Vigilance is a situation where a person or a group of people in the community become awake to the reality of life and decide to act accordingly instead of following the tradition.

CHILDHOOD VERSUS ADULTHOOD
Human beings have two phases in life: the phase of childhood and that of adulthood.

During childhood, a person is physically and mentally immature and is therefore dependent on the adults.

Adults are matured human beings who have gained sufficient mental capability to live as independent human beings.

During the phase of childhood, a person has little say in his life but as an adult, one is expected to be in full charge of his destiny.

THE TWO COMMUNITIES
Due to the challenges at Adolescence, a person is faced with the options of either becoming a vigilant person or remaining a traditional person.

Whoever chooses to become a vigilant person would definitely become rebellious to the traditional set up. He automatically becomes a member of the vigilant community.

Therefore, in reality, there are just two communities in this world: a vigilant community and a traditional one.

Unlike the traditional community, a vigilant community is not sustainable because there is no inheritance and because the traditions are not imposed. Membership is by self-realisation and by choice.

The leadership is based on values and there is nothing like the status quo. As the community grows in awareness so there may be need for new leadership depending on who has the value at a given time. This is always the most difficult aspect of the affairs and for this; the community is always undergoing the endless process of renewal.

Sometimes, it is just one person that has the zeal to become vigilant in an entire community; this person becomes the new vigilant community and the leader. The situation remains like this until he finds and joins another vigilant community or he is joined by new members.

Prophet Ibrahim was a lonely member of his community in this sense.

AL-ISLAM
Al-Islam stands for vigilance, so anywhere that it goes, it raises the flag of vigilance and allows the free human beings to born a new community.

A Muslim believes in no authority other than the authority of Allah and all his life activities are based on that belief.

THE EARTH
This earth is the common home for the two communities.
Allah who sent Adam to earth also allowed Iblis to live here until the appointed time. Allah knew and even instructed Adam about the permanent enmity of Iblis. Therefore, it is by Allah's design that the two communities would have to engage in continuous struggle for dominance until the end of life here on earth.

This implies that the two communities must never relate.

Since the two communities must share a common house and no one can eliminate the other, it becomes impossible for them not to interact. Allah allows interaction between the two communities to the level of need but strictly prohibit relationship in any form.

THE PRACTICAL SITUATION
The world today is a global village and the traditionalists, as usual, have dominated the political scene enforcing their traditions on people and trying to maintain the status quo.

They divided the world into countries, set up armed forces and formed information network all with the aim of instilling control.

The confusion for an observer is that wherever he looks, there is no trace of the vigilant community. He asks whether there is no option but to join the traditional community.

The answer is that the vigilant community is not a prerogative of anyone. Whosoever gains awareness becomes a member and the leader of a vigilant community until he finds and joins other community or more people join him. This is the very test of our sincerity.

To join the traditional community is to become one of them. This is not allowed no matter the condition of a person and no matter how seemingly wealthy and powerful they are.

While we have nothing whatsoever to do with how they run their affairs, we can nonetheless, interact with them based on our needs.

Therefore, in terms of administration, we have nothing to do with the Kuffar, but when it comes to services that they render, we can interact to the extent that it is not detrimental to our ideals and values.

A person is rated and analysed by his level of awareness.

Education is the means by which we transfer information from one generation to the other.

A human being is an individual given a heart and a reasoning ability. Every human being has to struggle to build the heart. There is no fellowship in matter of belief.

A family is made up of a husband and a wife and possible a child or children.

A woman must ascertain that a prospective husband is just or that he is under a just leader before she gives her allegiance to him in marriage.

The leadership of a community is the heart of the community and therefore is the community.

A Muslim must ascertain that the leader is just before he or she gives his or her allegiance to him. In the same sense a Muslim must remain vigilant so that he/she can withdraw his/her allegiance when the leader is no more just.

Every individual Muslim is the judge of whether a leader is just or not. A person can only act according to the level of his/her understanding and conviction.

Obedience to the ultimate leader is absolute in communal affairs and it is the leader who determines what a communal affair is.

Human relationship is based on love but sometimes the love is irrational. A genuine relationship is the one that is based on rational love ? the love for the truth.

A Muslim community is based on love for Allah.

As we need ash-Shahwah to be the platform from which we draw out al-Aql, so we need primary community to draw out rational community.

HAD I READ THE MANUAL
It was the case of a man who bought a mobile telephone handset but did not read the booklet that was attached to it. He had the basic knowledge of dialling a number and receiving a call.

Whenever he received a call, he could hardly tell who was calling yet the person at the other end felt that he should recognise his number.

He sat down and thought over the issue and decided to write down all the numbers that call him along with the names and he was doing it well. Anytime there was a call, all he needed to do was to take his note and search for the owner of the number ? do not mind the lapse of time.

The problem started when the numbers become too numerous for him to cross-check to see the caller or to write down the number if it is a new one. Callers begin to get worried for his much delay in responding to their calls.

He sat down and thought over the problem and finally decided to employ someone to be cross-checking and noting down the numbers while he engaged in preliminary conversation with a caller.

For some time, there was no much problem until he realised that he did not have much privacy because of his employee who always had to go with him wherever he went.

It was in his effort to resolve this problem that he was made to understand that he could save all the numbers with the handset and have it presented to him when there is a caller.

He tried it and he was shocked to find that it was true. He checked the manual and he was surprised to find out that it is boldly written there.

Every human being is motivated by his search for happiness or satisfaction in life.

Al-Qur?an explains everything that we need to know concerning the heart and happiness in a simple and straightforward language but alas we are deluded.

What most of us have done is that we abandoned the manual and instead concentrated on an extensive research which has so far gotten us nowhere.

How unfortunate if after centuries of research, we finally come to the conclusion that the formula we were looking for was presented to us on a platter of gold but we were blind to it and had therefore gotten to travel the millions of miles.

The Qur?an has explicitly explained to us the formulas of life which we could test and confirm but unfortunately we have been heedless. Why won?t we suffer and be deluded?

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm in heart against the rejecters, compassionate among themselves.

You will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure.

Their distinction is in their faces, as a result of prostrating. Such is their example in the Torah.

And their example in the Injeel is like a plant which shoots out and becomes strong and thick and it stands straight on its trunk, pleasing to the farmers that He may enrage the rejecters by them.

Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

HUSNAA

more kon few shon.
What exactly are u trying to say Idris? If u havent noticed, no one is reading you bcos u just dont make sense. Or if they do, read u, they cant make sense of the message so no one bothers to reply. Maybe except to pat u on the back for bringing such incomprehensible blahs.
I am really intrigued by u. I have been told of ppl who dont believe in the hadeeths of the prophet. I'm telling you, u wont find disciples on this forum, because fortunately for the muslims on this forum, we come from strongly orthodox Islamic backgrounds and have had solid firm foundations in our faith, so there is no way some upstarts will come with a new version of Islam without hadeeths and expect us to  embrace that ideology.

It is polite to seek for clarification for what you do not understand than to condemn it.

Husnaa! You are not everybody and this is a free forum - that you do not understand does not mean that others do not understand. No one is under obligation to read anything here.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GROW?!!!!!

Why have you failed to notice the beautiful comments made on my posts by beautiful people in this forum? Why are you so immature in your approach to issues?
