Thanks Nuradden for this very important post.

Well, I got a question to ask concerning the courses they offer. What are they? Is there any limitaion of these courses eg Medicine, Engineering, Law, etc. I asked you this question because what I cherished studying isn't among these aforesaid but just Education. Are they also offering this? And on what field of it?
InshaAllah, am gonna dispatch this to many. Once again, thanks.

Please don't be sentimental about this Husna. This schorlarship has been there. perhaps you did not care to know. I am happy with ur advice but for your information, a friend of mine who is beneficiary of that scholarship has rounded up his Msc in Biochemistry. He has finished successfully and he is still the normal friend that I know then and now. Of course the quality of one being good or bad depends on the level of training and upbringing that we receive from our immeadiate homes i.e both maternal and paternal. In fact, you now better because you are a woman I suppose.

Besides, Allah ne ke tsara ma kowa rayuwar sa ba abokai ko mutumba. sai dai ko me nene mutum zaiyi ya tuna cewa akwai Allah kuma akwai ranar sakamako. "Ala ayyati halin" Allah knows best.

Allahu Akbar, N, u have misunderstood me. Ni I was thinking more in line with a person getting killed in some random violence rather than becoming a bad egg. I just remembered the fate of some students who were studying in Russia and how they became the dead victims of random racial violence ba su jiba, basu gani ba, in a country that looks the other way when blacks become the target of racial hatred.
I am not sure the same applies where Brazil is concerned, since they have a lot of blacks and its like one of those few countries where there is an almost high level of racial integration. But high povery levels have led to a lot of social malaises. The country has more abandoned kids called street chidren than any other country in the world, and they are a regular target of police brutality as well. Statistics have shown that there are at least1 7 million guns in the hands of citizens.

All I am saying is that most of us only look at what is there on the surface and the latent good that is inherent in something. But we do not know if that good is also meant to come to us as well or that in a person's case, that very good will be the nemesis for something horrendously horrible happening to him. That is why I said mutum yayi istihara, before embarking on  any such life changing venture.

Both Husnaa and Nuradden have sighted a very good stuff. Though, a little crash happens due to a bit misgudgement. And this is communal whenever there is an exchange of peoples' perspectives, ideas, views, etc.

Thanks to you.

Its not a matter of misunderstanding sister. Its just a matter that has to do with knowledge sharing and intellectual exercise. My good Sister I was just trying to clear the air. Hope u are not offended anyway.

Husnah I beg to disagree with this assertion. Because Sub-saharan Africa by the United Nations analysis has the highest number of these destitute children not Brazil. But since you said this I will quickly refresh and/or  revisit my statistic and get back to u soon. Before then, kindly look at my draft proposal that I submitted to CODESRIA on African Destitute Chilren and Youth. There I made a global comparative analysis on the "matter at issue"

I  agree with this view Husna. Allah(S.W.T) in His infinite mercy said "Wallahu yahadi mayyasha'u ala Suradim Mustaqim". May He guide us aright.

Aha!! You are quite right, but sub Saharan Africa is a region comprising of about 40 countries, while Brazil is just one country......hmmm?

Yes I totally agree with ur view Husna but still Brazil cannot be the highest eventhough sub saharan Africa comprises about 40 countries as u asserted. I will soon furnish u with the fact on this very statistical data. Cheers!!!!
