Brownest

It bother's me to read some of the things you all discuss, triabalism, hit me hard, because it sounds like it's racism,
DEFINITION:  the belief that a particular group or race is superior to others.  Triabalism as you called it is amoungst brown people I guest most of you are brown, however, it disturbs me.  You were not talking about all of Africa you all were talking about Nigeria...  As I stated in another forum Africa is already a divided country, but to here you all talk this way disturbs me.  Some counties have all colors white, brown, red, yellow, and mixed, through-out, most of you are brown/black..... what make you act this way with one another???????

P.S.  I know because I've tried to discuss topics and get shut-out however, I'm a sistaaa a black woman living in America.

You know Mary, it may be that tribalism is a kind of a sophisticated form of the territorial instinct thing, that lesser animals display by spreading a scent that says

"DON'T APPROACH! TERRITORY OCCUPIED!"

Anyway, racism, tribalism, is a very old human history. It has always happened from the earliest civilizations when  communities took up arms against communities and slavery was the norm. Unfortunately, it will always happen. Tribalism, racism, will always occur in so far as one race or tribe feels itself under threat from another one.
You can probably equate it to a form of collective self preservation. Perhaps; who knows?
