Who are those predicting My President will die soonest?
that was the story being spread when the campaign train's
speedometer reached 100.  After his inauguration the
rumours continued that may be before his first 100 days
in office he will vamoose and became RIP.  The media are
on the forefront reporting even when the President
sneezes - kai naija.  This guy from our place, i dont want
to even call his name summoned meeting when President
was away on one of his medical shopping that he need
their support on his ambition to become the next presido
when yar'adua died - kai jama'a - thank God the president
don sack am immediately he came back - yaje shine zai
mutu yanzu.

The cabinet was shocked as he announced the dissolution
of ministers most of them where the government boys who
think they are the doers - but the guy surprised them.

Among them are 7 prominent as follows:-

Alhaji Rilwanu Lukman (Kaduna)
Dr. Sam Ominiyi Egwu (Ebonyi)
Professor Dora Akunyili (Anambra)
Alhaji Shettima Mustapaha (Borno)
Dr. Ibrahim Lame (Bauchi)
Architect Nuhu Wya (Kaduna)
Professor Babatunde Oshotimehin (Ogun)

my only fear is if Dora is taken away from NAFDAC, i doubt
much if we can get a credible person to man that place
again (Husnaa doesnt want to hear this story).

Rilwanu Lukman and Alhaji Shettima Mustapha are old time
administrators that has been tested - Allah bada sa'a

Sa wuta Yar'adua.

Kema dai kin fada, Husnaa. DB's political (actual) direction remains enigmatic and obscure. Let me describe it best that way; DB is an oppotunitist. Ko ina kuna nan!

Wai don Allah let me ask; why your name isn't among the nominees' list? As stalwart as you...ko ba haka ba?

BTW, what about other 7 ministerial slots? I think he relieved 20 ministers and now only 13 nominees are given? None from Kano so far--have to say it.

What he is doing; whatsoever it is, notwithstanding? I doubt. ;D

DB what Yar'adua did regarding the sack and appointment of ministers is not good for this country.
First of all he told everybody that he was going to overhaul his cabinet and that some ministers would have to go. That very overhaul took longer than necessary. You know how our people are. If i am a minister and i receive such a hint would you expect me to perform at my best? No, i think  would just gather what i can gather and pray for the best. One wouldn't even have the zeal to work because of the paranoia.

And then it came. The guy sacked 23 ministers on 30th october at a blow and up till now (23rd sept) new ones have not been appointed. How do you expect work to be done? Idan an ce mai baba go slow kuma yayi ta jin haushi bayan shi yake jawo go slow din.

Surely after suffering comes enjoyment

as far as i am concern, it is nigeria that is loosing.  his absence
has generates alot of roars among so many legal gurus on the
legality of the chief judge to swear in another chief judge and
the swearing of new permanent secretaries is still hanging on
the air - these are some of the little issues that came to light to
us (ordinary people) not to talk of so critical matters that are
awaiting the signature mr. president.

Allah ya ba shi lafiya.

however, this country is so big and mighty that surpasses an
individual, there is a great deal in differentiating between yar'adua
and president of nigeria.
